The stand is rock solid - that's great. Rough adjustment is done by moving the entire assembly up and down. Then approach with the gear adjustment on the bracket. Then fine-tune with the focus wheel on the lens holder. It sounds awkward, and it is a little - but once locked in place, you're done.

What I like: The video quality is excellent - 1080p. The images are sharp and clean. Video and still image specs are decent. Base and supports are made of solid aluminum. The base and post, crossbar and main gear are solid and sturdy.

Video is 30 fps, 11866 kbps (11.86 mbps), MP4.
Still images average 3.1 MB, 4032 x 3024 pixels, 72 dpi. 24-bit, sRGB.

The assembly took about 10 minutes.

There is an option to screw sliding clips into the base, but these would get in the way of everything else. There is also an included plastic box for slides with a built-in black light. It is completely separate and can be placed on the base if necessary. The slide box has two threaded mounting holes for slide clips - but they are 2mm in size. The screws provided are 3mm - for the main base only.

It's a decent system but would benefit from better quality control.
Fantastic build quality on the stand, everything else fine.

I do a lot of electronics work at home, I'm getting older, the parts are getting smaller and my eyes aren't getting any better. I have a large stereo microscope that I use, but it's a bit limited and takes up a lot of space. It can get uncomfortable for long distances because I have to stay in exactly the same position while I work. A little while ago my wife gave me a small USB microscope. It was great for taking photos though. I was hoping that this microscope could replace my other two solutions and it turned out to be pretty good. It's easy to work on my projects and it can take VERY good pictures too. For what this costs, it should be expected to perform well.

I also really like that the lens can be used at a very adjustable height. It can be raised quite high to get it out of reach of my tools and still focus perfectly, at the expense of slightly lower optical magnification. With my old microscope I had a very narrow focus range, so the flexibility wasn't that great. This one is great.

The interchangeable lenses are also very nice. I really didn't expect to get such high magnification that is possible with this setup. The kit comes with a light box and some slides and I was very pleased with how well this was able to bring out the microscopic details. It was way better than I thought.

The large screen is very sharp and clear. The image is high resolution and has a nice, wide viewing angle. It has buttons for digital zoom and for taking pictures to the included 32GB SD card. The picture quality is also excellent.

The gooseneck lights are also very nice and offer a lot of lighting and flexibility to put the light where you need it.

I see another reviewer mention "dead spots" in the focus knob, but that's not really the case. The internal lens in the microscope has a small auto focus. So if the image is badly out of focus and you try to adjust it, the internal autofocus will also try to focus, making it seem like turning the knob has no effect at times. There are no blind spots and you can quickly focus the image clearly. The internal autofocus makes it a little easier to get perfect focus, so the knob isn't as jittery. It's a very nice focus system once you understand what's happening.

Overall I am very satisfied with this digital microscope, even more than I expected. This is the perfect solution for my home electronics lab and takes up a lot less space than my old setup. A solid 5 star microscope in my opinion.

Great picture, super easy to use, wild field of view with enough distance. The work for Constable soldering, which I love, works with a 5v battery

I would first like to emphasize that I purchased this microscope set privately and NOT as a product test.

The reason was quite simply that I was actually looking for a soldering glass and came across this product. Since I have a teenage son, he could also use this set as a substitute for a microscope. So I kill two birds with one stone.

About the device itself:
It is a high-quality electronic screen magnifier with a high-contrast 10.1" color screen. The sensor has a high resolution, which unfortunately is not defined in more detail. However, it is sufficient for high resolutions in photo and video format up to 2160P UHD video for moving images.

The microscope is powered via a USB-A power connection. A USB power adapter is not included. A power bank, for example, supplies enough energy for hours.

The microscope is delivered slightly disassembled, but can be easily put together. The instructions are written in multiple languages and are easy to understand. You should fall back on it, especially when setting up the screen, because not everything can be found intuitively right away. You should configure the language first, because the other features you need. A 32GB Micro SD card is included and is used to store screenshots and videos.
Especially at high magnifications, it is noticeable that any vibration or movement in the image can be seen greatly enlarged.

Various utensils are supplied for handling. There is a slide holder with lighting, spring clips for circuit boards and 2x flexible LED lamps to illuminate other objects. With the focus wheel it is easy to set this precisely to fix the desired level.

Even if I use this magnifying glass privately, I also know it from the company where small items are sorted out by hand. The loupes in the company are far worse than this system.

Clear picture, was up and running within 10 minutes of opening the box.
I keep this on a shelf that I can easily bring down and hook up in minutes.
Also travel extremely easy.

I used the microscope to read blown SMD resistors. The magnification is very good. The 4k also allows you to get even more precise details. The integrated LED lighting is designed in such a way that nothing reflects. The color reproduction was also reasonable.
I used the microscope on the PC. The Windows recognizes a normal web cam. The picture is wonderfully large.

Good compromise between the simplest models and those that quickly become very expensive. Unfortunately, the bar is slightly out of plumb forward, causing the unit to tilt quite slightly to the left. But that's not a broken leg for me. The pictures are very good for me (coins and stamps; even a tick had to be looked at). I am happy.

Versatile for electronics board assembly and repair, much better than glasses and magnifying glass, just get used to not looking down, the eye must stay on the screen, but it doesn't come by itself, it's always running around the welder to look at After a while you get used to it. Also great for... Removing finger splinters: Trouble from brambles and prickly pears are no longer a problem.

When the central light is off (to eliminate reflections) and the side lights are minimal, the display optimally compensates for the brightness and allows an optimal view at all times. The focus is superb and to see the welds on the 0603 components I didn't go beyond the second magnification. Very happy with the purchase

I should have bought it much sooner!!!! With my DarwinFPV BabyApe, which went missing a month ago and has now been found, I was able to examine the electronics more closely and also find and repair some water damage that I would not have noticed otherwise. So I already have the money for the microscope back through saved new purchases of spare parts.
