Picture quality and dimmability of the LEDs are top notch.
BUT the magnification is optically fixed at 40x, the 1000x is digital zoom which is a joke as the resolution then decreases proportionally. Theoretically, you could also advertise 10000000x, but then you only see one pixel of the sensor. Should be IMO clearly described as such.

I love this product. Can view the entire coin and comes with 2 extra lenses for a closer look. Haven't found any bug coins yet, but I've just started.

The camera was delivered very quickly in excellent condition. The camera works both on a Windows 11 computer with a cable and via WiFi on a Samsung Android tablet and Android smartphone. A quick start guide is included. The software can be downloaded from the Internet. The magnification can be set to exactly two levels and focused there. From these settings, the Android software enables a digital zoom of 100-200% in 20% steps using the zoom buttons on the microscope. The image quality is very good for this price.

Very good picture quality, very easy installation both on the mobile phone and on the PC and smooth transmission.

Good value for money. 1200x magnification is a bit exaggerated, I think you would reach this value with a PC/laptop. Very clear picture, very easy to use with a control wheel, own lighting and 2 external lamps, adjustable (inclined) display.

Unique Microscope for Studying the World - Great fun with kids or grandkids!! Better than watching TV with kids.

So far I am satisfied with the essential properties - the image quality, the large achievable distance between the "A" lens and the workpiece and the mechanics of the base.
The manual states in several places that an SD card is not included in the scope of delivery - but in fact a 32GB microSD card, as described here by the seller, was included. However, no 5V 2A USB power supply is included - you have to provide one yourself.
The "digital zoom" function makes sense, since the 10" monitor on the device can display less resolution than the sensor delivers. However, I find the small steps of just a factor of 1.1 change per keystroke impractical - at least factor 1, 3 or even 1.5 would have made more sense.
The 2 LED lamps with giraffe necks on the base get pretty hot when in use, but are otherwise very bright and easy to adjust.
I will probably replace the barrel connector for the power supply of the base with an angled one, since the supplied one requires an impractical amount of flat space behind the base.

I bought this microscope to look at coins and it works amazingly well. Easy-to-use interface, can be connected to a monitor with an HDMI cable.
