This is sturdy enough to support a heavy telescope. Wasn’t sure but it did it. Sturdier than expected and east to work with. Lightweight and simple setup.

I don't use a tripod very often, so can't justify investing in an expensive one, but I did already have a good quality ball head. I found that tripods that don't already come with ball-heads are high-end and cost more than I was looking to spend and most of the inexpensive tripods come with heads that either aren't removable or used non-standard connections. The head on this tripod is removable and uses a standard 3/8" threaded head mount, so I was able to easily swap heads. There is also a fairly flimsy feeling plastic weight clip on the bottom of the tripod, but it turns out that also uses a standard 3/8" thread that is easy to swap with a sturdier spring-loaded metal option (plenty of choices available on Amazon). I think the out-of-the box components will meet most people's needs just fine, but hopefully it's helpful to know that you are able to swap parts out if you find you want to make some upgrades in the future.

I love this stand! I usually use it with my Canon camera, but it also works perfectly with my phone since everything is adjustable.It has adjustment points everywhere, so you can easily set it to the exact size or position you need. It feels very sturdy and reliable.

The tripod is of very good quality, solid, a good height, and comes with a case and a cell phone adapter.

Bought this tripod for photography trips - I have an old tripod from the early 2000’s that is really heavy and cumbersome. This was light and compact to put in my luggage and worked like a dream while I was in Joshua Tree doing landscape and astrophotography.
I loved the 360* tilt capability and the legs break down super fast so you can move to your next location. Never once did I feel like I had to question whether it was going to support my camera at an extreme angle or changing from landscape to portrait orientation. Would definitely purchase again, without question.

It's very ergonomic and of very good quality. It's very sturdy and can support a lot of weight.
