I have had this mic for about a month. I use it chiefly with Dragon dictation software at work with my iPhone X.Note this will not work out-of-the-box because you need a TRS conversion plug to TRSS plug. If you need to charge your iPhone, you will need either a wireless charging pad (which does not charge very fast) or buy an adapter that allows you to charge your iPhone and accept a microphone input. Of course all of these adapters require special cables to connect the mic to the adapters to the iPhone. None of the cables or adapters are expenses. I just hated to wait for them to arrive, but then that's me...On many apps, such as the dictation app that I use, you will not be able to hear sound coming from the iPhone. In other words when I am in dictation mode, I cannot hear the phone ring or play music. However, GarageBand will let you use the mic and sound at the same time. So sound is very app dependent for the mic.The sound quality is incredible to me. I am using it with my iPhone X. On a scale of 1 to 10 the iPhone mic is about an eight. The Rode mic is a 9 1/2.To be honest I had some difficulty setting the mic up for my iPhone. This was not the problem of the mic but the problem of the user.This is where the real value of a company's support people come into play. I must have spoken to Ryan three or four times until I understood what type of connections I needed for the mic to work. Ryan was patient, friendly, and quite talented. To be able to break down the instructions to a novice like me, is pure genius in my book.

Great little mic for secondary use like on-camera audio or vlogging. Comes with dead cat and shockmount. The cord is bright red to distinguish from camera and corkscrewed for protection. The shockmount is not very sturdy as it takes nothing to pull of the mic off center which is a problem for such a directional microphone. You might need an extension cable as a workaround. Otherwise, great purchase for my DJI Osmo Pocket! It is very compact, solid and fits in my already-stuffed camera case, no problem.

This is probably the best small vlogging microphone out there. Its very small and has amazing audio quality, even when its a bit windy. Definitely purchase this one

Used this to record some videos and performances. The sound quality is excellent. This is definitely worth the investment if you record a lot of family video.

It’s great, but with the cover the microphone has to be mounted well away from the camera if using a GoPro together with ulanzi mount or it wobbles into view

This thing is not cheap plastic. You get an aluminum housing and it feels sturdy. More importantly, the sound quality has been amazing for the price. Background noise is hushed and speech is so much clearer. I opened the housing and saw that the components show quality connections.Some points to consider when using:1. Use the fuzzy wind shield at all times; this mic will pick up even the slightest breeze, including the movement of air when you are walking with the camera.2. The sound isolation mount does seem pretty flimsy for the weight of this mic. Will need gentle handling.3. This mic will not tolerate an extension cord. Sound will reduce or disappear, depending on how long your cord is. I tried a 6' cord and it reduced the sound to mouse vocals. A 10' cord yielded no sound input whatsoever.While the mount could use improvement, the mic itself earns 5 stars for quality vs value. Great deal.

Lacked information whether the mic worked with computers/iphone/ipad. Unclear on packaging as well.We needed it for an event. Arived a day later than stated.

Unable to rate this product since the product claimed be compatible with CANON Rebel t6. Did not come with an adapter. Had to purchase additional adapter and paid rush shipping since during this pandemic I lack time to wait for this product to arrive. Very disappointed with this situation.

I don’t want to leave a bad review because I never used it as intended so I can’t speak to the quality. However, it looks good enough to work on cameras just not my iPhone 11 Pro Max.
