This mic is good quality for the price point. Audio quality seems decent and build quality is good. The only thing is the windscreen is far too heavy for the mic mount. When I put it on, the mic leans forward and drags on the camera because it can't support the weight of the screen.

I bought this as a quick fix for when my VideoMic Pro went down. Would say that the holder is a little cheaper quality than I expected, and the sound quality is not quite what it's made out to be on some comparison YouTube videos going through their entire line. But by and large, hard to compete with what you get at the price point.

I keep this little mic on my EOS R primarily as a safety backup for shoots or even as my primary sound for more casual home video kind of stuff. It works perfectly fine but most importantly it is extremely small. Without the dead cat it is hardly noticeable and with it, it still is significantly smaller than my previous mic that tended to get in the way and leave less options when mounting attachments to my camera cage. The only downside is that the included cable is quite short and can pull and shift the orientation of the mic on the rather flimsy shock mount.

Does a good job recording decent audio however, the part holding attaching the mic to the camera is flimsy as hell. I had to duct tape the bottom ends just so the mic would stop flopping around.

I purchased this microphone to use with my Sony a6400. So far the audio quality has been great. Very clear and lightweight. Installing it on my camera is super easy and perfect for what I need it for.

This thing is epic for how cheap it is. sound quality is amazing and its so small and out of the way. Recommend this mic to everyone.

I'm not sure if my phone has a low-quality mic, or if this mic just works that well, but this mic helped improve the audio quality of my video recordings on my smart phone. I was able to capture audio from up to 10 feet away with respectable quality. The fuzzy windscreen absolutely minimized background wind sounds--tested in a room with a loud A/C, minimally audible with it on, helping pick up voices much more clearly.I used my mic to improve the quality of my online videos and was not disappointed. I was rarely further than 6 feet away from my phone, so I'm not certain if this could be used to make professional-quality videos.
