I could not give a full report since I just got the radios and we have not used them as of yet. The appearance is very good and the sound is very good. Once I issue them to my security team and we use them, I will be better prepared to offer a more full report

I bought this bundle to use for neighborhood watch type events. We needed radios that were fairly straight forward that the majority of the people involved could understand if they were not tech savvy. I have been a licensed amateur radio operator for many years and I realize that not all people understand complex radios. I needed radios that the average person could use and understand all the radios functions. The BF-888S filled the needs very well. I would highly recommend this the Baofent BF-888S to anyone who needed reliable radio communications for anything from family events, group functions and similar type events.

Aweful quality, we charged it for one event but found out that 8/12 earphones don't work and are broken during the event. The other 4 started not to work during the event, so disappointed when you rely on something and it fails you!Not sure about the battery life as we used it just once and as the earpads were broken we didn't used even the walkie-talkies!

I ordered a package of six radios and one of the batteries did not work. I ordered a replacement and Amazon sent me another pack of six radios. In that second pack one of the radios was defective. I now have 11 functioning radios. I will contact Amazon support to see if I can resolve this again. Let the buyer beware!

Less than a year later stopped working. I have had to replace them once a year. The batteries fall off the back, antennas break off & they just don't last. Tried emailing them but I haven't received a response.

I bought 10 units of this radios, worked well the first month but then one by one started to have problem with the On/Off button, turns on and off every minute making it hard to use. The antenna is made of very poor material. I even purchase the 3 years protection plan and was waist of money, I contact the protection plan and they said that I have to contact the manufacture to get a replacement. I definitely not recommend this radio to anyone.
