This is a good telescope to try out the hobby before shelling out for a more powerful one. The price is good, and it's relatively easy to set up and use. We were able to get some great views of the moon.

Easy to assemble. And you can use your smart phone to take pictures with the small part come with the scope.I took several moon photos, very nice. Get one for your future astronauts. LOL

Here it is: this device does this for quite a small amount of money.What do you get for this 80 dollars?- the telescope itself- the tripod- 2 lenses- handy small 'monocular'- handy bag for carrying- phone mount (which is barely useful for pictures taking because of shaking)The optic quality of the telescope is great overall, the tripod could be better, but I use my Manfrotto tripod which is way superior, but costs as much too :)You need to get used to the night sky navigation because sky objects appear small and the view angle is very narrow, but with a little bit of practice it's doable.It is also great for wildlife observation, I don't hesitate to bring it with me as the weigh is somewhat about 3-5 pounds and takes not that much space.**What could be better?- Automated night sky navigation, however, such devices start with 400+ dollarsAlthough, you barely can use such great telescopes outdoors, and are useless for wildlife observation at all.The bottom line is:This device is a great starting kit that allows understanding if you like the night sky observation or not. I find it quite boring after 2-3 times, but then another feature kicks in - this telescope can be used during the daytime, which is great and not that boring at all!Yes, I would recommend it to a friend, especially with the kids.

It's amazing, you can really see the moon. My kids and I like it very much. We can watch the stars and the moon together.

It arrived just in time to see the “blue” moon! Was easy to set up. My first use was to look at the moon. Viewing the moon through the telescope made me feel like I could touch the moon! Can’t wait to have more opportunities for viewing the sky with the telescope.

Excited to get the product. Easy to setup. It took me 30 mins to setup everything.It is light. So u can move it around easily.I am still learning how to use it. Used it to watch moon/star/house roof. fun to have it at home.

Portability is great for this telescope. I used to carry a bulky telescope when I went camping, this thing makes it so easy to carry around and setup.
