Excellent camera. Very happy with both stills and video... Daytime and nighttime captures. 20mp. Could have bought the "s" version but got a better discount price. Only difference is 20mp vs 24mp (s version).

Easy setup and worked first time. Caught raccoon and fox in the yard the first night.

So far the performance of this camera has been great for the price. The one big design flaw is that there is no built in loop to run a heavy guage lock through. There is a tiny hole to lock the face plate closed, but nothing to secure to a tree. I am not concerned with someone messing with the settings or taking the sd card, so having to use the faceplate lock to double as a lock to the tree is more of an annoyance than help. Every other camera I have purchased has larger holes in the back for running a cable lock through (see photo).Second flaw became obvious after using this for a while. I need to format the card every time before I turn on the camera otherwise it will not capture any new images.

I have had 2 (the 1st one had to be replaced) other trail cams from another company and was not pleased, always had a problem. I am very pleased with the GardePro. The videos are great, the batteries last longer than the other trail cams, it has many programming options, and I like the options of turning on all the lens or just use one. It does not take blank videos like the other one. Very happy and would recommend this trail cam. I only use it to see the wildlife in our woods and love it. Oh yes, why didn't I give it a 5 star, well there is always room for improvement. Not sure what on this item right now but I'm sure there is and we want the mfgr to stay on top of their items. Thank you! ;))

Is working great so far. Quality photos. Haven’t taken video yet. Good during the day and night. Happy with purchase for deer photo use.

This is a nice camera with a good interface. However it was not sensitive enough for my application which was to capture videos of Bluebirds coming and going from a birdhouse. I mounted the camera on a tree 6' away and set the sensitivity to high but it still didn't detect the Bluebirds. The motion test showed that it captured other, larger objects but not the birds.A few quibbles with the design: ⁃ You can't use the monitor to aim the camera because you have to open the box to see it and opening the box points the camera 180º away from it's monitoring position. ⁃ There is no information on how it formats the SD Card. I used a new 128 GB card. Initially, it formatted it to an exFAT format that was incompatible with the exFat format that my Mac's can read. I used a Mac to reformat it to MSDos Fat (16). The unit then reformatted it to MSDos Fat (32). Both of these formats were able to be read by the Mac.I didn't test the other features such as night vision and timed captures.In summary, this is probably a good camera for monitoring larger animals (and cars in the background) but it doesn't work for Bluebirds.

The GardePro A3 Trail Camera gives excellent video and camera shots perfect for my backyard use. I am very happy with the product and will be buying a 2nd one in the near future.
