I had before others, but they weren't good enough.I kept changing them until I bought this one and it was enough.It's sturdy, has quality and I use it in my setup.

This ball head is great and in combination with a tripod, you can optimally position the camera!

I've had a Giottos tripod for a few years and the kneecap was already wearing out, so I bought this one and it seems like I need good for the little bit. Let me see over time what I can say more.

I have put this ball head to the test. I have banged it around on the back of my electric wheelchair and have gotten some really good shots with it.

Check listing for several size options... choose what fits your needs. I replaced a (suposedly) 11lb capacity "pistol grip" ball head on my Sunpak Utra 4TSM with the 24mm 18lb capacity model which now easily holds my Sony A7 + battery grip + 18-300mm lens (about six pounds).

I really like this tripod head. It's really sturdy, and the quick release plate is wonderful, well-built, and compatible with a lot of other tripod heads/accessories

Awesome, I added this to my regular tripod and it worked perfect, makes it easy to clamp in or out of the tripod and point in any direction including up for astrophotographers :)
