We really like this action camera, even though the packaging states 14+. We bought it for a 6 year old, and I think she will be able to use it easily. It comes with an amazing array of attachment options,: bike handle, helmet, underwater case, childproof with handles, and a lanyard for attaching the last two options to the photographer. It includes a rechargeable battery and also the USB cord to charge it. It includes a 32 SD chip, already formatted and inserted in the camera, and also a chip reader to download the pictures to a computer. The padded hard case is compact and perfect for storage and transporting. All it needs is to be charged for a bit, and some imagination! The instructions are on the screen and in an included manual, which may be complicated for a child to read, but it looks like they will be intuitive to discover and use. I don't know how long the battery charge will last, the manual says about 90 minutes. There are also options to automatically shut the camera off if not in use, which will help . We are looking forward to seeing what this First Grader is able to create!
