Versatility & Stability
I really like this tripod; this is a great addition to my photography kit. This tripod is well designed and very sturdy. The versatility is impressive, the movements are very smooth. The weight is on the heavier side for tripods but it does weigh less than an M240B.

Inexpensive, Yet Good, Action Camera
Photo and video quality are pretty good. Image stabilization is really good. We used this camera on a recent cruise to the Caribbean. Took decent pics and video under water. Wore it on a zip line and it captured that footage very well - crisp and clean with no jitter / bouncing. We kept the camera in the included waterproof case the whole trip, which caused the audio to be muffled quite a bit. Outside the case, the microphone does pretty well. All-in-all we were pleased with it. Comes with a bunch of useful accessories and a couple spare batteries. Batteries last about an hour on a full charge, maybe a little less, not bad for what you get. Definitely recommended for those who want something like a GoPro but don't want to spend 3-4 times the price!

Great Device, Excellent Value
This is a great little camera. The only reason it did not earn a 5-star was that it missing a couple of features, however, I am very happy with my purchase. The features I wanted were are touch screen, a port for a microphone and I would have liked it to be better in low-light conditions. I realize now that I could have purchased all of those features via a more expensive/upgraded model. That said, I decided to keep this device because for what it costs, it does a great job. Also, I had a couple of questions that I emailed to their customer service. Within 24 hours they provided me with a detailed response. Again, there are better cameras available with more features. However, dollar-for-dollar, you there is nothing to complain about with this camera.

Lose the mic adapter and you're screwed
I like the camera itself, but the mic port has a special cord adaptor you need to be able to use any standard 3.5mm microphone that screws into the port to maintain the waterproofing. The problem with this design is that if you lose that adaptor you are hosed.Drift Innovations doesn't sell that part in the US, with no plans to start any time soon. and I have messaged the seller twice about getting a replacement. Both times I have been told they would send me one, and it's been 6 months and I have still not received a replacement. At this point I have lost hope for ever getting it.If you buy this cam, just be extra careful to never misplace this cord, else you are only ever going to be shooting silent videos.

I prefer this over the 4 Silver
I have the 4 Silver, which is a better and more capable camera than the Session. However, I prefer the Session because of its form factor, simplicity, and better microphone. Because I don't have to put this in a waterproof case, it records sound much better than the Silver. It's also easier to mount on my son's hat or helmet (which I do a lot) because he's only 3. Don't get me wrong, while the Silver is a better camera, the Session is no slouch. It takes great video, but if 1080p at 60fps isn't enough for you, then this isn't going to work for you. Now that the Session is $199, it's an easy recommendation. I'm really glad I purchased it.

Good bang for the buck.
I bought this to record video from my motorcycle, which probably presents the worst environment for any action camera. After comparing my video with others made with GoPros cameras on motorcycles, this camera produces reasonably good results. At 4K the image quality is very good, very sharp. Image stabilization is hard to really determine because of the vibration and buffeting you get on a motorcycle from the road, the motor, and the wind. A $700 camera might do better, but from what I've seen online, others have issues just about as severe with more expensive gear. My only beef is the sound from the external microphone is weak, even with the setting on the camera at its highest volume. Otherwise, for the purpose I bought this, I'm satisfied.

Best Value Action Camera!
I just got this as my very first action camera a few days ago and was blown away by the package I received. The fit and finish of the camera is excellent, the buttons are well-sized with a positive click and the screen is bright and easy to read. I was really surprised to get two batteries, a charger, waterproof case and a bunch of mounting accessories that should make it easy to use the camera in a variety of environments. All of the above is good but the best part is that I'm really excited by the first few videos I shot...the quality was good and image stabilization worked very well. The only negative has been that the audio isn't loud enough but I'm hoping to buy an external microphone to solve that problem. This package is 90% of the quality from a "name brand" for a quarter of the price!

THE MOST AMAZING QUALITY FOR THIS PRICE!!
For anyone wondering is this mic actually capable of professional vocals...I record rap vocals in my very noisy loud home and this thing did a great job of keeping out those unwanted sounds while still sounding warm, clear, and smooth its unbelievable to think it was just $20. Although I might add my room is acoustically treated. I own a AT2035 a $150 mic and the XM8500 comes so close to taking its place as my studio vocals mic. Its that good.The XM85000 also definitely does not feel cheap at ALL. Its comes in a nice case with microphone stand clip and none of this stuff feels cheap or poorly built. The quality put into this mic and accessories for the price is crazy.If you have $25 to spend trust me this is a great investment.

Impeccable customer service. .
I’ve tried 2 AKASO cameras due to good feedback on YouTube but I felt I should weigh in.I’m updating my review based on the great customer service I received after the sale and return of two separate and different models.Customer service reached out to me to “make it right” and sent me the latest model on the platform of the last one I ordered. The sound quality wasn’t there but the included a lavolier microphone that made a huge improvement over the built in one which was muffled by the waterproof case. They even sent an extra case with instructions to pass the plug and wire thru it.I’m still evaluating it but the new one is head and shoulders above the original.I will come back with my thoughts but the customer service I received is not common these days!
