As a photographer I’m always looking for any way I can lessen what I have to carry when I’m out shooting. This quick release plate is absolutely phenomenal for lightweight convenience and maximum versatility.This is the most practical and ingenious piece of photography equipment I’ve began using this year.I’m able to use it to mount my full frame DSLR onto a mono or tripod without hardly making any noise. It’s small size and lightweight design make it easy to slip in my pocket for when I need it and it just works.In addition to shooting with my DSLR I will quite often shoot photos with my iPhone. The built in camera and apps on the iPhone allow for so much more creative work than most of us ever dreamed possible - there is no reason not to enjoy that technology. This quick release is designed for exactly that!As effortlessly as I’m able to mount my DSLR to this plate, I’m also able to fold this open and have it hold my iPhone.I absolutely love having one solid, well made piece of equipment that can perform for both purposes. After I started using this quick release plate I questioned how I got by without one for so long!This is a top notch, perfectly designed piece of photography equipment that I have recommended several times and will continue to do so.
