Once I tightened some screws on the face plate it worked like a charm,,,a nice fit. Quite odd that it came the 3 loose screws though..

It's ok
Got this to replace my old cheap flimsy tripod which has a broken leg clip causing the leg to slide down while in use. This looks and feels no better or worse than my old one in terms of the flimsiness and lightness, but it does have the added benefit of having the level and the clip mount (haven't tested how well/badly that works yet though). One thing though is that there is this loud jarring "pop" when I open the legs and pop them into place. It sounds almost like I'm breaking something. Overall it's what I expected for a $15 basic tripod, and I like that it's so light I can easily carry it with my camera backpack. The best thing is the bag that it comes with; the protection and the shoulder strap makes it 100% secure when buckled to my camera backpack.

5 Minute Install
Took just 5 minutes to unbox, configure and mount. I did already have the MyQ app on my phone. The magnetic mount made it a snap to put the unit on bottom side of the garage door opener. It can plug right into the same ceiling outlet as the garage door opener. No batteries to change. Have a garbage bag tie ready to make sure you route the wire so it does not have any chance to touch moving parts. Camera is very clear with day and night vision. This solved a problem with me to ensure security in garage. Well designed and very user friendly app workings.

Perfect for top down field of view video recording
This item is just what I was looking for in order to produce a nice range of camera angles for the tutorials of my Arts and Crafts Youtube channel. It is perfect for achieving a top down or over the shoulder first person field of view.Unlike a lot of the other extension arms I was looking at, this one has a good maximum length (36 inches). It is very robust and sturdy, which can make it quick unsteady on a tripod and so you will require some kind of counter weight (especially if like me you are using it with a heavy camera). This particular model does not come with a counter weight included, but is been designed to attach small weight lifting plates which can be locked into place with a bolt (I have just been balancing a weighted bag on the end as a quick fix, which has worked fine).

Wow, everything i needed and more!
Arrived today so I can't really give you a long term review, but I will say packaging was excellent and mine also came with a 32 gigabyte sony SD card as well as a carrying case from Sony that fit all accessories included with this camera in the bag comfortably without having them damage each other. I think this has to be one of the best deals that I have came across on the Internet I'm surprised many more people did not know about this deal because you really get a steal here. BTW I actually received the 16-50 kit lens not the 18-55

Love these, especially for the price
Love these, especially for the price, but be warned that they're BIG. Actually, the name "Giant" is not just hyperbole. They're probably close to a foot long. Great optics and easy controls for focusing and tweaking what you're seeing, and you can see a long ways away. It comes with a decent-enough carrying bag (you may prefer to invest in an inexpensive but more substantial camera backpack with adjustable insides that be adapted to this), and a handy mount that can set the glasses on a standard tripod. Really awesome and excellent for what they are. They also include a microfiber cloth for cleaning the lens. Nice deal all around, I think.

Wish it had a way to hook a bag or something to ho
all the extenders work well, but there were scratch marks from where it moves even before I opened it fully. It is very light and so having a hook or something on the tripod would be nice for adding a bag for stability. Hopefully I don't come across a lot of wind or uneven ground, might be able to hold a fanny pack on the midsection for stability.

Superb for mirrorless or cell phones
I love this little tripod. I've used it several times, primarily for long exposure photography. It is easy to manipulate the bendy legs, and it is reliably steady when used on my mirrorless with wide angle lens. When shooting, I recommend a short shutter delay to avoid shake. My favorite feature is the light weight construction. I attach the camera, swing my strap behind my right arm and set out. The slight extra weight is unnoticeable, and I leave it on even when shooting hand held. But you can easily slip one leg in a pocket or strap to a small bag with ease.Always verify weight limitations when buying a tripod being sure to choose one with specs exceeding the weight of your camera and heaviest lens combination.I recommend this product for mirrorless cameras or cell phones.

well made. Sturdy
The product works well. Stable. I took advice to not extend the legs all the way but back each section up an inch before securing. Very stable and this is with a big 4 lb 75x spotting scope. I think some may have broken it by not correctly removing the top piece. There is a lever release that lets the whole piece out so you can screw it onto the scope or camera or whatever. Then you place it back with the release open, then close the release. If you start twisting, it'll surely break...so don't. Folds up nicely. Nice carry bag. Can't beat the price.
