This lens is highly recommended by every professional I know. It is everything I expected and more. The depth of field is fabulous, zoom is incredible. A little bit heavy but IS feature helps make focus doable. Love this lens- would buy it again in a minute!!!

I thought this would be my backup lens but I find myself reaching for it even over my 50mm! It’s lightweight and I haven’t had any issues with auto focus, image stabilization or picture quality! This is a great lens

Please give this product a try. I read a lot of reviews and people said it couldn't focus but i gave it a try. After getting it and playing with it. It is wonderful!!! It has to be fully extended at all times. Then you rotate the lens farthest away from you clockwise until it focuses. Whenever you zoom in by rotating the lens closest to your eye 10x-30x clockwise you have to then rotate the lens furthest away from you clockwise to focus it again. Please try it. This product is wonderful. Best so far

the unit met my expectations. clear focus at 10 and 30 power. bright image thru viewfinder. would be great if lens caps were attached otherwise a great unit.

I've only used the Macro Lens so far with both a Samsung Note 5 and a Motorola Z2 but results were excellent with both. Attaching to the phones is fairly easy and also relatively stable. You may have to fiddle around a little with settings on your phone as to whether you will need to use Auto Focus or Manual Focus. Would be nice if you could purchase just the Macro Lens separate as I really don't have a use for the wide angle lens but either way it's still good price considering the quality of the product.

For the price, there really is no reason not to get this lens. Really. Unless you have an L lens (or Sigma Art) in this focal length, it's likely going to be better than anything you already have. This lens is plenty sharp, fast, and makes a fairly good portrait lens on crop cameras. It's small enough that finding room in your bad will not be a problem. The STM focusing is nice and smooth, but the focus-by-wire during manual focus takes some getting used to. As others have mentioned, focusing isn't quiet enough to not be picked up by internal mics, but works fine with an external mic.

Love this lens. So far only used the macro. Bought the Bluetooth remote for easier focus while taking shots. The macro reveals details invisible to the naked eye!

I am not a fan of expensive zoom lenses and unfortunately the DLSR photographic market is flooded with some expensive branded lenses which often do not justice to their price. But, this lens is an exception! I have been using the lens with and without a TC with my Z9 body and the shots are pleasure to review. I could summarize the following points -1. The lens looks bulky with the tripod foot but it is lighter than it looks - definitely good material design choices for the body and the seals2. I was interested in the shake or image blurring at long distance with low natural light in outdoor condition and the lens performs surprisingly well in this condition. The optical stabilization along with synchro VR in 9 body, the images were fantastically stabilized without increasing the ISO.3. The focus is sharp and the AF works great in outdoor, complicated situation (part of them is possibly coming from the body) but still no complain with the focus speed and the silent motors4. I like those two L function to remember some settings and use it instantly while tracking more than one subject - very useful.5. I noticed that the lens takes time to focus at dark and you have to refocus on some other elements and then focus againOverall, it is a fantastic lens and even though I was skeptical to begin with, I fell in love with the lens. Good job Nikon design & engineering teams!
