Finally stopped losing my lens cap
I kept losing my lens cap and I bought these. I love them, even gave one to my sister. Sometimes gets in the way with a lens hood but still better than having to hold on to the lens cap

A must have!
I bought this as a add on for my 50mm 1.4f Nikon lens and it is a must have for a natural light photographer. It definitely helps with glare and is a great add on that doesn't distort picture color. Even if you have a lens hood; I would still recommend getting the polarized lens cover as it provides anti glair far better than the lens hood.

Cheap and high quality polarizer - You need one
This is a great polarizer. Easy to use, fits perfectly on the lens (I attached a rubber hood on top of it too). You absolutely need one with any DSLR, and this one is fairly cheap for a great brand and quality.

No hassle with a lens hood
As with many of my lenses, when the lens hood is on it's difficult to remove and replace the original cap. This cap is perfect! Should be standard on every lens! Worth the extra money to forgo the constant hassle of the original lens cap.

Great, but not like the "L's" hoods.
this hood is great! Like my frontline says,the L series lens hoods i have are insulated with soft fiber cloth, this absorbs the rays of sun and other light beams so that it doesn't bounce into the camera lens.So i was a little disappointed when i found that out, its freaking $26, so com'n canon, give us some cloth.Thats the only complaint i have, not really worth an entire star marked off, but amazon doesn't give the 4-1/2 star option One pro i love is the locking button, located on the side of the hood.it provides nice sturdiness and mental relief that its going to stay on your lens.!hope this helps guys! i took a couple pics of the hood
