Excellent
Despite shipping from Hong Kong directly, this item arrived before all other items ordered at same time that were local origin lol. The quality is as described. While I can't really rate the optical side I can say the Polarising Filter works well. Threads are smooth and engage with out crossing every time.. Retainer is metal as stated. Very nice appearance. With out hesitation, I've already ordered more from same seller.

Not the same case
I did not receive the same case that is pictured but I guess it will work. I was really hoping for the double hook cross body strap and instead I received a case with one hook and a neck strap... disappointing but I'll make it work.

Not so light weight
I thought that this would be a nice light weight tripod to carry hiking. Turns out it weights about the same as my other tripods. Because they tried to make it light weight and tall at the same time, when fully extended I felt that it wasn't as sturdy as I would have hoped. But it didn't fall over or break when my camera was up there so that was good. I'm not sure that I would extend it fully in an outdoor environment.

Great Tripod!
I bought this tripod to update a very old one we had. I love that it is light, sturdy, comes in a travel case and did not cost as much as the other expensive tripods offering same features. $70 may seem like a lot, but if you're willing to make the investment on a piece like this, then you should.

I will be buying more of them.
This is exactly what I wanted. Very smooth operation in all directions. I don't have much experience with tripods but compared to the cheaper ones we were using, this blows them out of the water.

The Details matter
I've purchased and used the less expensive Geekoto tripods for use with stationary cameras, and love them. This is the more robust version with video head that moves smoothly, and I love this one for the same reasons. Very good price/performance ratio, quality build and attention to details at every part. For example (though it's a very small thing) the vinyl carrying case has the handle slightly to one end, so that when the tripod is in the case, the heavier "head" end balances and makes it easy to carry. Not that big of a deal, but for me is indicative of how much thought goes into these tripods. A lot of little well thought details add up to a great overall experience. I use them for professional shoots (mostly multi-cam live shows and music videos), and they have held up quite well. I try not to be rough with them, but they are not in any way fragile. I've paid 3X as much for tripods that were not as sturdy. Very happy with all of their products.

Cheapest one I could find!
I looked all over online for the cheapest one and this was it! Same brand same everything!

Great sound
Great sound and I love being able to play the same music on all my Alexa devices at the same time.
