Exactly What I Needed to take Vertical Video for I
This tripod adapter was exactly what I needed to be able to take vertical video for Instagram and also for vertical photos. I also purchased a separate tripod to use with the phone only, the UBeesize phone tripod (ASIN - B08D6KM95D) which adjusts on the center pole (not each leg) and it's GREAT to use with this Vastar tripod adapter.

Bought for my dad for a Yellowstone trip
MACTREM 80" Camera TripodI bought this for my Yellowstone trip. I own a few tripods before but I must say this is the best one I have. It is relatively light weight. I brought that tripod everywhere we went without the carrying bag. Setting up is relatively simple but it takes a little to get used to. I own the other style that the legs do not swing to the other side to open. I use this tripod took about 100 pictures. Since it took a little to set up, I usually have the tripod fully extended but found not too difficult to carry it around. I also have another tripod with the same style but the twist lock does not close anymore (cannot not locked)Pros.Light weightPretty strong compared to other tripods I have.Easily be converted to monopod.QR plate. Most tripod has this anywayStability hook.Ball head construction.Cons.Stability hook came loose. It does not flush after I twist it back on.

I’m slightly surprised that this monocular did what it said it would. I’ve tried other types before but wasn’t impressed or the results were lacking. It’s not overly heavy and the length will take time to get used to. We tried it out at a near by county park and it worked flawlessly. I do recommend that you get a light weight travel tripod or monopod since the tripod that comes with is designed for a table/picnic table top. My 15 year used it the most and I think she has claimed it as hers. Also it was used on both a iPhone XS Max and iPhone 11 Pro Max. I sorry but I don’t have access to any android products so I can’t report on how it fits but it should work perfectly.

It’s super light not heavy

Good Phone Holder
Does what is advertises and holds the phone very securely to the handle bar. Also works as a tripod mount with old style tripod.

Very Premium and allows for a nice downward perspe

I like almost everything about this tripod besides the fact that it is not carbon fiber. I live in Texas so the weather is quite hot, while this is inside the car, noncarbon fiber tripods can absord heat to the point where a touch can burn your hands. Besides that I think this is a very versatile tripod as it allows for ease of travel. I really like the twist knobs which makes setting up much easier with just a 1/4 turn with a full hand grip extending it out completely. One of the legs allows for a monopod mode which enables more flexibility while shooting. I think this tripod is great for traveling as it is compact and lightweight. Overall it is a tripod that I would recommend and fits very well in a good budget.

Outstanding quality
Well built, no cheap materials, a little heavy because of that, comes with a bag + shoulder strap. You get a tripod with a short boom arm (better than nothing), and it transforms into a monopod. Great quality. I cannot be happier. It’s a little expensive compare to other tripods available, which I tried before getting this one, as I realized how wobbly and weak those cheaper versions were. If you cannot afford dropping your photo/video equipment on the ground - you should get this tripod.
