Cheap at twice the price - Excellent Value! Excel
I bought one of these, for a better on-camera flash. I liked it so much, I bought two of them, then added some Yongnuo triggers, and they have become the most versatile tool in my gear bag. I just bought a third one "just because I might need it".Their build quality is sturdy and consistent, and despite other's claims, I have found them to be reliable.The downside is that you really can't use cheap batteries in them, and the power level of the battery determines recycle time. Low power = longer recycle, although this usually only happens on the highest power setting. I've heard of a lot of people using rechargeable batteries in them.So, if you want to learn how to do flash photography, or just need versatile portable light, I would strongly suggest them. They are cheap enough that even if you decide you hate flash photography, you are not out much money. $40 versus the $300-$400 you'll pay for the lowest-end Nikon speedlight pretty much tells the tale.

Great Camera
Great camera for all around use. It takes great pictures and has all of the versatility most users would ever want. Although bigger than the camera it replaced, it's size or weight has never been in issue for us. I prefer it to the smaller camera's because of its versatility and because its battery lasts much longer. It also can take multiple flash pictures very quickly so you don't miss things waiting for the camera to recycle.

All pros, no cons.
Nice flash so far. Haven't run into any issues with it. Already did a portrait shoot and the pictures turned out amazing!Pros:-can be used on or off camera-has main or slave flash function-quick recycle time-movable head so you can always get the best angleCons:-nothing yetNo issues at all. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a cheap on/off camera flash!

Great Recycle Item!
Great to use when the K-Cups are depleted from your cupboard and you can fill & refill with your own ground coffee. Best to empty coffee grinds in the trash as opposed to the sink drain, which is recommended to help not clog the pipes

Good value for its price
Pros: Outstandingly compact, good range for its size (27 ft.), can tilt up to 90° upwards, works perfectly with Canon EOS Rebel XSi SLR camera (needs at least the 1.1.0 firmware).Cons: Poor battery life (the flash takes several seconds to recycle after a few shots on alkaline batteries), manual range selection (22 ft. or 27 ft. only, no motorized flash lamp), sometimes (altough very rare) give shadows on the picture bottom when using long lenses with hood.A pair of rechargeable NiMH batteries, at least of 2500mAH, is a must to improve the flash recycle time.

Canon makes a great flash and this is no exception! Quick recycle and very powerful.
