 I bought the Amcrest webcam to replace an older, out of warranty, Logitech webcam that went dead on me. Originally, I was planning on buying that same model but that webcam is currently for more than double the price of this one. After doing a little research and based on the excellent reviews given for this Amcrest model, I decided to give it a shot.The webcam arrived at my doorstep in a small packaging. The content of the box only included the webcam with cable and the privacy cover (which would be extra had I decided to buy the Logitech). The webcam is a plug and play webcam which means as soon as you plug it in, you can start using it with whatever video messaging software you want to use.I use my webcam mostly for work purposes: Zoom meetings. And every once in a blue moon, I use it to call my friends and family over whatever software they want to use (Skype, Google Hangouts, Facebook Messenger).I didn't have a high expectation when it came to the picture quality but I'm glad to say that I was mistaken. the picture and the video qualities were almost on par with my old Logitech webcam. The sound quality was pretty good as well considering none of my chatting partners (most importantly, my boss) ever complained about the sound.And as I had mentioned above, this webcam actually came with a privacy cover so you can make sure that nobody can be spying on you by hacking into your webcam. This was actually a concern of mine when I had my old Logitech webcam and the way I would prevent any cyber hacking was simply to unplug my webcam. It was a minor inconvenience but still an inconvenience. Now I simply have to flip down the privacy cover and I'm protected from would-be prying eyes. A little peace of mind can go a long way for me, and maybe even for you as well.All in all, I'm super happy with my purchase. Although I was doubtful at the fact that I'd never really heard of this company before, I'm glad to say that the quality of this webcam has exceeded all my expectations. And the peace of mind that comes from the included privacy cover is great. If you're looking for a webcam to use, I highly recommend you look into this webcam and to try it out for yourself. You'd be happy you did.

During the COVID lockdown, I bought a Logitech C920x Webcam. It's a nice webcam for my Zoom meetings. The price has since dropped to about half of what I had to pay ($65). However, I wanted to get a backup webcam for use at home. I took a chance with this EMEET C960 webcam that cost under $40. I'm very pleased with the purchase and savings. The picture and sound are on par with the Logitech. I will be purchasing another of the EMEET webcam for my wife's laptop (which has a poor quality camera).

I use a Mac Mini desktop and must provide my own peripherals, including a very important addition in recent days, a webcam. I bought a webcam+microphone that gave a fuzzy picture and muddy microphone. One of the people on the receiving end of my Zoom advised me to get a Logitech C270 webcam. I found it to be less than half the price of my original webcam and it gave a very clear picture and clear sound. My fellow Zoomers were are also happy with it. I strongly recommend the C270.

I use it for my online learning classes that I teach. My students noticed the big improvement over my webcam microphone.

Easy to use and assemble, the brightness levels are very good, I use it to give more illumination on my desktop and to make the image taken by my webcam noticeable.

An inexpensive webcam with decent image. Comes with lens shutter cap. Works well for my occasional use.

This webcam was fairly easy to set up. I got it to use for various meetings. I have a laptop but use an external larger monitor so it was awkward to use the laptop webcam . This solved the problem
