Lightweight, robust and versatile, recommended for mobile phones and light cameras
This K&F tripod, for the price it has, surprised me for the better. It's light and easy to carry in your backpack, and it goes up a lot in height (ideal when you don't want to record crouching).
The mobile phone holder is included together with a small Bluetooth remote control for shooting from the mobile phone, which is perfect for direct, reels or video calls; in addition, the ball joint with handle is comfortable to handle for soft panning.
For small/mirrorless cameras, light weight and occasional use, it's more than enough.
Be careful with the weight: the model announces a load of up to ~4 kg and a height of 190 cm, but if you plant a heavy camera with a large lens, you notice that it loses some stability.
Outdoors, hanging a backpack on the hook helps. Otherwise, the leg closures fit well and I haven't had any gaps during the tests carried out.
What I liked the most
- Very portable and quick to assemble.
- Real height for comfortable recording without inventions.
- It comes with a cell phone clip and useful accessories.
To improve
- With heavy loads it is not the most stable (for DSLRs with a heavy TV, a more robust one is better).
- The carrying bag could be made of better material and some auxiliary pockets are missing.
- Quality of mobile phone support.
Important to consider
- The adjustments require a good squeeze so that it does not give way when tilting, but without going over to avoid breakage.
Conclusion: Recommended if you want it for a mobile phone or light camera for occasional use and you are looking for something of good quality, easy to carry and at the right price, it is a very reasonable purchase.
For heavy equipment or hard professional use, I would go for a more robust range.
In addition, the product is highly rated (∼4.5/5 with more than 1,300 reviews), so I'm not the only one happy.
