Small, well constructed and thought out, but usefulness is limited by its size
It's a well built backpack, and the storage areas are fairly well thought out for a basic handheld camera kit (DSLR, 4-5 lenses, batteries, cards, cleaning kit), but the tripod storage isn't usable in the long term, and if you have a sound recorder, microphones, or any other add-ons with some bulk to them I would forget about it. For the tripod there are two straps with plastic clasps on one side of the bag, with a zip pocket underneath them that doesn't look like it was specifically designed to take tripod legs (other backpacks have a stretchy pouch for this function). Even with a lightweight tripod it doesn't inspire a lot of confidence, and I came home with one of the straps having opened itself one day, with the other one gradually loosening. It's good for a monopod at best. It won't hold a bottle of water on the exterior either, and I wouldn't keep fluids inside a bag with expensive camera equipment. If you're on the move with equipment you're guaranteed to have a decent size bottle of water so this is actually a real problem. It's quite a small bag so if you're a tourist taking handhelds with a nice camera, want to travel light and comfortable (which this bag definitely is) and have a partner to hold your water you'll be ok, but if you're semi-pro or higher and need a tripod/water bottle then go bigger. In fact it's so small that if you're going to do a job for somebody they might not even take you seriously. I'll keep it for light personal use, because it's very good for that function, but for planned jobs with a tripod and a few hours or more of work I need to order a bigger bag.
