Good solution for a kite line mount
I have a pretty specific use case for this quick release mount. I need to mount the X5 camera on a line mount for kitesurfing and using a traditional tripod mount allows for the camera to rotate on the screw. It's also important to keep the center lines in the stitching area. This mount is lighter weight than a full metal cage.The aluminum build feels premium and locks down tight once you get the hang of positioning it right. Works great with both the X5 and Ace Pro, even though it's technically marketed for the X5. The magnetic snap system makes switching between tripods and selfie sticks super quick, which is clutch when you're filming.
