I tried it outside when it was super dark at like 4am and I could see everything, even some animals by a tree at about 100 yards and the passing cars from further, I estimate about 200 yards. I then played with it a little and read the manual so I could change the colors in the display and the image is even better in some of the color options as the contrast allows for better clarity. I recorded a little video of my 3d printer as a comparison and also playing with the 3 zoom options. Overall it works very well and it has a good amount of settings and features I'm still discovering, it includes a battery, a charger and a nice case with an accessory pouch. I cant wait to use it in the wild.
