Mostly works
I had this on my fujifilm X-T5 with 70-300mm lens for a while, but eventually took it off. Sometimes it’d slide too tight, or the metal would dig in. Not often enough to be unuseable, but often enough to note it made me feel like I had to adjust it.
I suspect I probably needed a slightly wider camera strap due to the weight of the camera set up, rather than the strap having a fundamental flaw, but if you buy one, try it with the maximum weight you intend to carry, and walk around with it a little bit, before you keep it
Also, I found a trick about twisting longer camera straps in such a way to safely form a strap length similar to this, so I just do that now.
