I didn't take a photo of this lens on my Mini 3 for a couple of reasons.

First, it looks like the picture in on Amazon. EXACTLY like the picture on Amazon. Why be redundant. Besides, my pic environment wouldn't have been as controlled as the one they already use to display it. There likely would have been dust on the desk surface and dirty socks in the background. Ain't nobody needs to be looking at my dirty socks.

Secondly, I would have put it on my drone, but MY Mini 3 is a little bashful when it comes to being photographed.

So here's the 411. It's a worthy UV filter doing what a UV filter is suppose to do....filters ultraviolet light. It seems to do this quite well. It is also built as well as I would expect.

There are UV filters for this drone that cost twice as much. Don't ask me why. I wouldn't pay for it.

The main reason I got this was for protection of the actual camera lens, which has nothing to keep it from getting marred with a stick or errant piece of dirt stirred up by the props....see, there is no glass on the lens frame that comes on the mini. Just a hole with the actual lens behind it. This is something you should be aware of. This UV lens is under 20 bucks. A new camera is well over 300. Pretty simple math....and comparatively inexpensive insurance.

Oh....as an added bonus....this lens ALSO limits harsh UV rays!! WOWZER!

You're no dummy. If you bought the Mini 3 Pro, you clearly understand quality. This will help you protect your investment.
