One of the legs can be removed to create an adjustable monopod. The top has a level. The metal ball head moves smoothly. The angle of the legs can easily be adjusted. I like that I can easily go from a wide base to a smaller base with easy. Overall this is a great tripod. It is lightweight and easy to set up and tear down.
