This camera is great and very straight forward. I bought it to keep an eye on an exterior area where I have problematic neighbors and it serves a deterring and preventive measure.The camera design is nice and it is very practical, the image is very clear and wide. The app (EdgeCloud) could be improved to provide a better understanding of cloud video storage. I still do not understand how that part works but if you are only looking for a camera to keep an eye on an area or record movement then this camera should be enough.The solar panel is very basic and it provides some power but depending on your location you may not be able to squeeze much power out of the sun. In my case, I have it in an area where the morning sun can provide some power but as it goes up other buildings create a shadow and then in the afternoon I can't get additional power. However, this is my particular case, if you can set the panel in a way that it can use the solar power for longer then it might be enough. In my case I had to plug it to the actual electric charger for an entire day to fully recharge.Overall the camera is easy to set up and the solar panel does provide some power but be mindful of where you put it. If you want to get a lot of solar power then you need to install it in a good area where it can get a lot of sun.Image is good, and infrared vision is quite powerful. It allows me to see at least 20 feet into the distance during dark conditions.This camera is not a 24 hour surveillance system and any time you access it to see video through your phone the camera will use battery even more.
