Good Tripod, but.
It's a nice tripod, but some of the parts are substandard. Some of the knobs used for locking things into place are plastic and wear out quickly, the locking knob for the ball stripped out after only three or four uses. Now the camera won't stay in place, hoping I can get it fixed because I do not want to buy a whole new ball head for one stripped out knob. I have been in contact with the seller and they gave me the option of buying a new head which I really don't want to do.

Small but mighty
The media could not be loaded.

I was looking for a sound machine for the nursery. My son had grown accustomed to a thunderstorm sound from a previous machine. I decided to take the leap and purchase this one. Reviews were mixed as to if it had a “thunderstorm” sound. #10 is listed as “Heavy Rain” but it does indeed have thunder as my video shows. Sorry for shaky video, I was watching my son, not the camera

Great product. Tons of pros, only one con. Must Ha
I love the ease of putting this together. I love the brightness without added heat. I love that the controls are on the ring light not on a remote. I love that it plugs in to an outlet not USB. I love how easily the height adjusts. I would love it to go slightly lower on the lowest setting to make it more convenient to be placed on a table when I am sitting, but overall the height adjustment is spectacular. I love the included remote for picture/selfie use although I haven't used it as yet except to test it. There are tons of pros to this ring light. The only negative I have for this is that the ring area inside is so small. I have to tilt my phone back to plug it in or use a macro lens which distorts the lighting a bit and always has my viewers staring up at me which is not the most flattering angle. If the phone holder inside the ring light could be adjusted to sit immediately in front of the light or if the diameter of the ring light was bigger allowing more room inside it for charging cords, macro lenses, etc, this ring light would be perfect.

Great buy!
It works great! Lightweight, compact when folded, easy to set up/put away. I will say the pictures tend to come out a little fuzzier/lower quality when using the stand/remote but I don't think that's because of the remote, I think it's because you can't manually focus the camera if you're trying to take a picture of yourself

Products working properly but not motion detection
I’ve been using this camera for two weeks. Network pairing was fast and easy to connect with mobile. Sound detection is pretty accurate I can always receive notification and it is nice I can switch for sensitivity. Only thing I think can improve is the motion detection, even I can find the recordings from library but I barely received any notifications for motion.

Works Great With My Laptop
I brought this during COVID, when the camera on my laptop would no longer work and I couldn't find a software download to fix it. I have spent a better part of a year, using it for all of my Zoom meeting. It's reliable and clear. And I have brought a new laptop since then. But, now, I just keep my initial laptop, Zoom ready, in one location.

Honest description, fast delivery
This is my third T2 yes I am an avid photographer, and sometimes they get abused a lot. a real lot. It is a very dependable camera, rain, sleet hurricanes and tornados even high winds on the beach with a lot of sand. The seller is great, fast and accurate description it put it in as excellent, I went over it and not a thing wrong including cosmetic, very happy with the transaction. showed up earlier than expected.

Works Fantastic!
I got this to help find my missing cat. Unfortunately I did not find him, but for the price this thermal image camera works much better than I expected! It's pretty easy to use. I used it at night and could see other cats and a couple times an opossum and a raccoon family from quite a distance. I even found cats in the rain hiding in bushes with this!

Why I chose the SB-800 over the SB-600
I won't repeat the wealth of information the other kind reviewers have already given. I'll just focus on why I decided to cough up the extra $100 to get the SB-800 instead of the less powerful SB-600.Compared to the SB-600, the SB-800 has the following extra features:1) Much more powerful, as reflected in the GN.2) Slightly faster recycle time with the standard four AA batteries. It also comes with a battery holder that holds a fifth battery which cuts down recycle time by 1/3 to 1/2.3) The SB-800 has non-TTL auto and auto aperture modes. (More on this later.)4) In wireless remote mode, the SB-800 can act both as the master and slave, whereas the 600 can only be a slave.5) It comes with a useful diffusion dome, which won't even fit on the SB-600.6) The SB-800 package also includes two colored gel filters.7) The SB-800 can do repeating flash (in the same exposure), for a strobe effect.Basically, both the 600 and 800 support Nikon's latest flash technologies, i-TTL (supported by the D70 and D2H only) and CLS (creative lighting system), in addition to all the TTL (through the lens) flash modes Nikon introduced in the past. The 600 is really a prosumer-level flash that's either TTL or manual, whereas the 800 is pure pro-grade with a lot of modes and options. The manual, evidently written by a Japanese manual writer, attests to its sophistication; understanding the manual will really require a Ph.D. in yoga so you don't stress yourself out.The 800's auto modes are what won me over in the end. The auto modes can set the flash output automatically on Nikon bodies that do not support any TTL (through the lens) mode. On those bodies, with the 600 you'd have to resort to manual, which is simply a pain in the butt, not to mention prone to error. The two non-TTL auto modes on the 800 are auto aperture and auto. You'll need to study the manual very carefully to figure out the difference; I still haven't, but I'm already enjoying the auto aperture mode. The availability of auto modes also means the 800 can be used on a wide range of Nikon bodies than the simpler 600.If you are deciding between the 600 and the 800 like I was, ask yourself the following questions:1) Do you have an extra $100-$150 to spend? If yes, the 800.2) Do you plan to use the external flash a lot? If yes, the 800.3) Do you have Nikon bodies (usually older manual ones) that do not support TTL (you can find out in the camera's user's guide)? If yes, the 800.4) Do you plan to do a lot of wireless flash photography and take full advantage of Nikon's Creative Lighting System? If yes, the 800.5) If you want to get a diffusion dome that fits the flash, get the 800.In the end, I think the SB-800 is a better long-term investment than the SB-600, despite the higher price. It's much more powerful and flexible, and even though it's an overkill for me right now, I imagine when my flash photography improves (and I'm trying very hard right now), it'll prove a very worthy investment.Feel free to drop me an e-mail at hotmail with any questions. BTW, if anyone knows of a good web forum that discusses how to use Nikon's flash modes and the CLS, please let us know. Thanks.
