This is my initial "15 minutes" post setup review. I am impressed overall so far. I will say that I will probably not use more than 50% of the advertised features as I use Blue Iris 5 for all my IP cameras. This means I can't comment on the onboard SD storage, motion tracking, cloud storage, etc. I also cannot comment on how this camera is setup if this is your one and only camera and foray into IP cameras. This is purely from a Blue Iris 5 user's standpoint.I have owned many generic IP cameras over the years and I have observed the length of time to setup get worse. Many require you to bend over backwards to configure--like installing a very sketchy app/browser extension on your phone or PC. The Amcrest ProHD seems to buck that trend somewhat because I was able to access the web interface without issue after figuring out the IP address it received from my DHCP server. No sketchy extensions to install! Nice!Once logged in you're greeted with a modern web interface with easy to understand settings. I made a beeline for the TCP-IP settings to set a static IP. The IP switched on instantly after hitting Save. I then Googled for a firmware update and that installed without issue. I am using this camera with the wired Ethernet connection so I can't comment on WIFI. The fact that it has no antenna is a bit concerning however.Setup in Blue Iris 5 was simple, there is a pre-configured setting for this model. The video came up right away with full Pan-Tilt functioning.As I stated in the beginning of this review, these are my initial impressions.
