Pocket 3 Aluminum Alloy Magnetic Expansion Frame

First of all, this is a well-machined METAL magnetic camera mount for the Osmo Pocket 3.  It perfectly fits the camera body, and the magnet is incredibly strong.  Don't be surprised that you will have to slide the magnet off whatever you stick it to.  Otherwise, it is VERY hard to remove.  And this is a GREAT feature.  Now, I picked this mount because it was metal.  I have tried a few different mounts that were plastic.  You will find some other brands that are injection-molded plastic or 3D-printed plastic.  Some fit better than others, but this metal version is a perfect fit.  Is this more expensive than other plastic mounts?  Yes.  However, the build quality, finish, and stability make it a worthwhile investment.   It is so easy to use that I have given away the other magnetic mounts I purchased previously.

This is a quality mount that's the perfect fit for the Osmo Pocket 3. It feels very sturdy and secure, where you feel safe with it holding an expensive camera without additional support. I also like that the hinges on the mount/magnet are easy to move but hold in place without issue.

This is another awesome accessory from K&F Concept for the Pocket 3! It attaches to the bottom of your device quickly and easily using an orange quick-release button. One tap and it pops off—just clamp it shut again and it’s securely back on!Once mounted, you get multiple expansion points and a surprisingly strong magnet. You can use the base to stand your Pocket 3 upright, mount something on the cold shoe (like a mic or light), or even attach your phone to the large circular magnet for monitoring. The magnet is so strong, you can stick this to metal surfaces and the Pocket 3 won’t budge—which opens up a lot of creative angles and different shooting ideas.For under $30, it’s a great add-on. It folds up small (aside from the aluminum base), weighs just 65g, adds a cold shoe and 1/4" mount for tripods or selfie sticks, and doesn’t block any ports or controls. Easy to remove and reattach too. This is staying on my Pocket 3 full-time!

As soon as you unpack it, you notice the solid workmanship and the low weight of only around 65 grams. The Osmo P3 is simply inserted via a side buckle and is then absolutely tight. Particularly positive: 

All ports and controls remain accessible, even when accessories such as the battery grip are attached.

The real highlight is the magnetic attachment. The total of 17 N52 magnets ensure an extremely strong grip on almost all metal surfaces. Whether on a lamp post, car roof, radiator or steel cabinet, the camera sits securely and wobble-free. If you want to film on non-magnetic surfaces, you will find two metal rings included, which can probably be glued on as an adhesive base. Unfortunately, the enclosed (English) instructions barely address this point, which is a small downside.

Thanks to the numerous 1/4-inch threads and the cold-shoe interface, the holder can be flexibly extended, e.g. with a light or microphone. 
In combination with the wide range of adjustment options (360° horizontal, 180° vertical, additional 270° inclination), there are many creative applications:
from vlogging to time-lapse, from POV setup to desk recording.

My personal conclusion:

A well-thought-out and sturdy accessory for all Osmo Pocket 3 users who want to get more out of their camera. The magnetic force is impressive, the handling is convenient, the expansion options are versatile!

The magnetic adapter is perfect for the OSMO, the quality is great and there are also 2x magnetic discs to stick on.

I tested the K&F Concept magnetic holder for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 in practice. I have already used other products from this manufacturer and have always been satisfied. For the Osmo Pocket 3, for example, I use ND and CPL filters from K&F. The holder is solidly made and very lightweight at just 65 g. The Osmo Pocket 3 is simply inserted via the back buckle, locks and then sits securely. All buttons and ports remain freely accessible, which was particularly important to me as I also use a battery grip. In addition to an English instruction manual, the package also includes two additional metal rings, presumably for sticking to non-magnetic surfaces. Unfortunately, this point is not really explained in the instructions. In general, the instructions provide rather little helpful information. That's a shame because the product itself is really well thought out. For me, the highlight is the strong magnetic attachment: The magnets ensure a bomb-proof grip on any metallic surface. I was able to easily attach the camera to a lamp post, to the roof of the car, to steel cabinets, and even to an interior radiator — all without wobbling. In addition, the system can be extended via 1/4 inch threads and cold shoes. This also makes it easy to integrate lights or microphones. The holder can be adjusted several times: horizontally by 360°, vertically by 180° and again by 270°. In practice, this allows you to quickly set the right angle — whether for time-lapses, vlogging or POV recordings. The accessories are also well suited for setup scenarios on the desk or in the studio. The K&F Concept magnetic holder for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is lightweight, robust, safe and versatile. The guide is the only real weak point. I have a clear recommendation.

I have a whole bunch of adapters for my Pocket 3, all of which do at least one thing this does, none of which matches it in terms of functionality.So they are all marketplace bound, I have found the one adapter to rule them all!And, as with all K&F products, this is machined to perfection, fit is like a second skin - if the gimbal had a skin - and none of the camera operations are obscured.Love it.How I Rate- ***** Don’t think, just buy it!- **** Nothing to complain about, I’d spend my own money on this.- *** Does what it should but there may be better alternatives- ** Problems or issues encountered that outweigh any benefits.- * Run for the door!

This is a great addition to my pocket 3 accessories. It is very easy to snap on and off. It doesn’t obstruct the bottom so you are still able to attach accessories or charge it.The magnet is very strong. I tried to mount it on my fridge and I was not worried at all about it falling. It also comes with 2 magnet rings with adhesive on the other side so you can attach it to more surface that are not magnetic.Build quality is great!

Works perfect! This is such a good and reliable brand! It fits my ozmo pocket perfectly! Its a snug tight fit. You dont have to worry about it slipping off! The magnets is strong and holds toght to anything metal! Its easy to move around and use throughout the house. Its compact and super easy to travel with! It comes with complete instructions!

I'm always looking for useful accessories to add to my camera kits, and this one was a good find for my Pocket 3. It's very small, which is always a plus, and its construction is all-metal, so it seems like it should be very durable. It attaches quite firmly around the bottom of the Pocket 3 via a latching mechanism but doesn't interfere with attaching the battery handle or smaller handle that comes with the default camera kit. It also doesn't interfere with the OEM protective hard sleeve that fits around the camera. There's a notch cut out on the left side, allowing access to the SD card. The powerful magnetic ring will keep your phone securely attached--or your Pocket 3 securely mounted to a metal surface--without worry. The magnetic ring can be positioned in pretty much any orientation you'd like, even tucked under the camera to act as a stand. If your phone/case isn't "MagSafe," the package conveniently includes two adhesive-backed metal rings for compatibility. This little gadget also features a couple of handy connection points: a cold shoe on the left and 1/4" thread hole underneath the back side. So, if your only reason for carrying the smaller Pocket 3 handle is for the tripod mount, you can safely store it in a drawer somewhere, never to be used again. This product is definitely one of the most compact, well-built and useful accessories I've accumulated for my Pocket 3.
