I believe this camera includes an option in the camera settings for the red filter used for underwater. I don't believe the external filter would be needed if this is turned on.

- The unit generally recharges 2, 1350 mA batteries in less than an hour. The batteries also seem to pick up a charge pretty quickly with the camera connected to a power source via USB.

I have emailed akaso. They do have a microphone however they weren't sure what country I lived in. I told them the United States.. I'm waiting to hear back from them hopefully tomorrow I will have an answer and I will post it here
