Small and efficient, good value for money!
I mainly use a Godox V8600III and the whole thing weighs especially after a long day, it is powerful and customizable, but sometimes I need to travel light. This small flash and its diffuser are already very light and customizable enough to be used in situations such as wedding photos, yes, it is less powerful than the Godox but much lighter. The manufacturing quality is very good for the price, my only complaint is the plastic of the diffuser which was deformed and therefore difficult to insert on the flash, I don't know if it's just my copy but that's it. For use it is clearly powerful for its small size and the recharge time is about 2 seconds, it's not bad at all! The small screen allows you to easily adjust everything and the charging port is USB-C. The battery life is also very good, we are close to the specifications and it is a brand that I like. In conclusion, to travel light or for those who are starting with photography, go for it without forgetting to put the flash in its small pouch to protect it!

Compact and useful
This compact flash unit is an uncomplicated, compact convenience that I find easy to carry around just in case. It's functional and flexible, adjustable and can be channel-linked. For a small unit it can fire more than enough light for my casual requirements and yet it can become part of a mult-unit scene. Reset between firings, I find surprisingly fast.Great value in my opinion, nice to have in the camera-go-bag.

Small, practical, good — for amateur use!
The brand K&F Concept should be known to most people by now. In my experience, you can often find good value for money with this manufacturer — I would even say: “Get a bargain” — but occasionally there are also products that make your hair stand up. Fortunately, the camera flash tested here is not one of the latter ;-) But now I have to say right away to better classify my review that I am not a real expert when it comes to photo flashes. Although I work as a videographer on a part-time basis and am therefore quite technically literate on the subject, as the job title suggests, I work more in the “video” sector and use professional photography only privately or for simple assignments that I can easily fulfill with my photography skills. Flash photography, however, is not one of them. Therefore, my requirements for such a mini flash are probably much lower than from someone who has already worked with various camera flashes or even does so on a daily basis. For my part, I find the handling of the camera flash tested here almost perfect! It is very small and handy, weighs only a little and also works easily with my Fuji X-H2 via the hot shoe connection (without an additional cable). It is battery-operated, comes with a diffuser attachment and I also really like the small cloth bag included for storage. For a price of just under €51.00, in my opinion, you can't complain about that. With only 8 performance levels, the range of functions is certainly rather sparse, but it is quite sufficient for the amateur sector and my personal requirements. I got along very well with the flash right away and in this case even found it quite practical that you don't get hit with various settings here. Everything is very simple and easy to understand. This makes the camera flash very intuitive to use. But that also means that it seems to be more suitable for amateur use and simple assignments. For the professional sector, there are of course too many restrictions here. But in my opinion, it's not meant for that either. In the end, we are talking about a “mini” camera flash and not a high-end device with a huge range of functions. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether this is worth the current price of just under €51.00. Because, in my opinion, you don't get a “bargain” (as mentioned at the beginning) here. But I'm definitely very satisfied with this mini camera flash so I'm happy to give it a good 4 stars! Thank you for reading

Simple flash to improve the camera's light and fast flash
I purchased this flash through the Vine program, because I have a Lumix G7 camera with a very weak built-in flash, and another small Sony that doesn't even have a flash. This small flash behaves well in general, it recharges quickly between shots, both cameras make it jump right in the shoe. You have to manually choose the amount of light by adjusting the speed, trying to adjust it to that of the camera. For an amateur like me, this takes a while to learn, but it suits me very well. It lasts a long time charged, I haven't had to recharge it in two days of testing. It is very light and small in size, at the cost of being a little low in the camera and not being able to rotate (see what I have said about it in “drawbacks”). It has an auxiliary or filling flash mode that in theory detects the light of the main flash and makes it jump, but I haven't been able to make it work, I'll continue researching it. It comes with a cloth cover, fairly clear instructions and a diffuser. It does not come with a charger but it does have a USB C cable for the cell phone or similar. Disadvantages: -Logically, being fixed, it cannot be rotated upwards to bounce the light, it is not an inconvenience as such, but it must be taken into account. Fortunately, the plastic diffuser it comes with can soften the light. -The biggest drawback in my opinion is that being so low -which is good in general-, in the Sony it barely protrudes from the body and some lenses produce a shadow from the flash at the bottom of the image (see sample photo). It can be fixed with a “hot shoe” shoe adapter that raises it a little, but it's another element to add. For that reason I'm removing a star from it. -I haven't been able to synchronize it with another flash yet, but this is probably due to my inexperience with flashes. CONCLUSION: a perfect flash for beginners in the world of night or artistic photography, which will make us learn a lot and will improve our photos for a reasonable price. I recommend it.

Great upgrade!
EXTREMELY HAPPY!! My wife uses it for family photography and she use to use to the big long one that uses 4 of AA batteries. She never uses it on full brightness, same goes with this one. Of course when testing it out, she did try fullest flash and DANG ITS BRIGHT! Not ideal for inside photographs. The battery life has been extremely long, and material built does feel solid. Great bang for a buck!

High output and compact
For the size of the flash, it has very high output (says +7).
It's compact size and light - fits in my pant's pocket.
Works with my Lumix, Fuji, and Nikon cameras.
Easy to use - all buttons are intuitive and small info screeen is very nice.
Recycle time is very fast - appears to be less than 2 seconds at +7.
Does not use AAA batteries like my other flash - pros/cons - save battery money but when you forgot to charge, you are out of luck. I have not tested when battery is 0 to see if power can be supplied directly from USB C without battery being charged, so I cannot comment on this.
Include light diffuser works pretty good, too.
Highlty recommend.

Good flash, if used with due care.
Small but powerful sled flash, read this review carefully before buying it: PRO: - simple and intuitive flash, very small but with high power, I appreciate that there are not too many keys; the package includes a bag to contain it, a power cable and a stretched plastic speaker. CONS: - the power cable is still USB-A USB-C, I will never stop expecting a double C output; - the plastic speaker is very rigid, I had a hard time applying it to the flash until I found the solution: you have to push the short side on the respective short side of the flash and, by pushing, the diffuser will adapt to the flash; as shown in the attached photo, the latter is not one of the best speakers on the market: it significantly lowers the power of the flash and the blurring of the shadows is minimal. CONCLUSION: The flash is very powerful, on the instruction booklet it is recommended not to use it close to the eyes (obviously), but the flash is also often used for portraits: for this reason I recommend buying a better speaker than the one supplied, possibly in silicone, so as to be able to better weaken the power of the flash (by doing the tests at due distance, the flash (with the diffuser applied) has practically stunned me). With the help of Patrick Stella, you can see the difference between photos with or without a diffuser, practically minimal: the first, brighter with sharp shadows (without diffuser); the second darker, slightly smoother shadows (with diffuser). Good flash in terms of ease of use and power, small and portable. I'm giving 4 stars for these missing precautions.

Cost effective for budget conscious photographers or beginners
Having tested several flash options across various price points, I selected this K&F Concept mini flash specifically to evaluate its performance-to-cost ratio for budget-conscious photographers. From a pure specifications perspective, this flash provides approximately 60-70% of the functionality of premium brand speedlights at roughly 25-30% of the cost. Not bad at all. The GN12 guide number proves adequate for everyday shooting within 8-10 feet, though insufficient for larger spaces. Battery efficiency is noteworthy, using the built-in 2000mAh power source, I've documented 470+ full-power activations on a single charge, closely matching the manufacturer's 500 claim. The recycling time remains consistent through the first 300 flashes before gradually increasing from the advertised 1.8 seconds to approximately 2.3 seconds as charge depletes. A good reason to keep it properly charged at all times.Construction quality reflects its price point, predominantly plastic with adequate but not exceptional build quality. Weight savings proves significant at only 128g, approximately 70-75% lighter than equivalent full-size speedlights. The 8-step power adjustment system (1/1-1/128) provides sufficient control for most shooting scenarios, though lacks the fine-tuning of 1/3-stop adjustments found in premium models. For budget-conscious shooters, this unit delivers approximately 65% of essential flash functionality at 25% of professional equipment costs. Now do your own math.

More than decent flash for my GRIIIx
So it could be user error, but I couldn't get this to work on my Sony mirrorless system, and a Canon 5DIV. This does work with my GRIIIx. I like KF Concept's stuff, always puts out quality gear at affordable prices. This flash is definitely on that 5600K~Day light sort of look, and I don't hate that at all. It's quite a powerful flash for it's size, of course this is comparing to flashes I usually use on the GRIIIx, which tend to be mini and travel sized. This definitely is on that border of "travel friendly" size. Overall I'm fine with it being to work with GRIIIx, but maybe it's me but I just find all these flashes fiddly with cameras.
