The ball on top can hold a large amount of weight including my large phased array antenna. My old tripod would droop after a while of holding the weight. This one also allows for the legs to extend really far apart to prevent large objects from being blown over.

The tripod is better than I expected. It's not too heavy for me and it is very adaptable. It says 78 inch but it is actually just over 77 inches. Even though the adjustment knobs work great they are not replaceable if you choose to use a different style. I personally would rather have that option. I.E. bigger knobs for my weak hands. I also purchased two L brackets and the tripod works perfect with them. I don't like the tight fit in the bag and was hoping there was a place on the tripod itself for attaching a sling but there isn't. All in all I would buy another one if need be.

I had a very dumpy, K&F Concept Basics-style rudimentary tripod that lasted me over 10 years until last year. One of the wingnut adjustments was over-tightened and stopped working. Got a cheap, "heavy duty" $40 replacement from Walmart that lasted about 4 months. Finally took the plunge and ordered this tripod, and I'm definitely never looking back!

I only use it for extended periods while shooting the statues, figures and pieces I paint, so administer with a granule of sodium, but this thing is more than adequate for what I'm doing with it and I'm very confident it could survive any trips I made for reference shots for paintings, in any sort of environment. It feels sturdy, holds position with zero fuss, and even the ball head joint feels great a few months in. The nicest thing is the added arm, which will make videography an easy adjustment if and when I get around to recording myself working. Love this tripod so far!

I am very satisfied with this product.1/ Its strong point is its very good stability. I wanted above all not to lose my equipment at the seaside when the wind is blowing hard. Test passed bravo.2/ the second strong point is the camera's off-centering, which makes it possible to obtain pleasant shots.3/ the third strong point is its total height as well as its small relative size, in the folded position. The monopod is also part of the party.4/ Its external appearance and its well-made sheath make it a product that I highly recommend to lovers of quality photos.5/ Finally, its very reasonable price is a convincing argument.

The parts all move smoothly and are of high quality material, very durable. It's easy to set up and has a nice carrying case for travel. It is stable without being heavy which is very convenient. The clamps for extending the legs work perfectly, they are easy and quick to use yet they clamp down very securely. The price is very competitive for the quality of this tripod!

Love everything about the tripod. Exactly as described. A little heavier than I thought it would be. Takes some practice to use but still would highly recommend.

I have several classic tripods and finally this one replaces them easily. With the added advantage of being able to film vertically (which I was looking for). Superb color and excellent value for money.

I had a Ranger which I lost and replaced it with this. Overall it is fine. It is a tad longer than the Ranger and harder to pack. The levers of adjusting the ball took some getting used to and have trouble locking in with the weight of of large lens. Overall a good value and does what you need it to do.

Quite sturdy with a large variety of different positions. Camera felt pretty stable at various angles. Makes a big difference for capturing photos in lower light situations with a slowed shutter speed. Haven't had a chance to carry it around, but the carrying case is well made and the tripod is not overly heavy
