These rock. They're kind of big and bulky but their strength and build quality are equal to the size. They work great.

I’m not a professional photographer by any means, but I like when the equipment I purchase works or even exceeds expectations. This replacement head is a perfect fit for the tripod I had. Even the 1/4” adapter to attach onto my existing tripod is perfect. The setup I have now will allow me to further enjoy my photography hobby. Thanks K&F!

If you need a ball head that locks the vertical, and horizontal movements separately, this is the answer. Once set, the camera is rock solid, not the slightest movement. Very easy to make slight adjustments to maximize your composition. Unlike other ball heads I have tried, this adds no noticeable weight to the tripod.
Have tried other ball heads, tilt & pan heads, l brackets, none hve provided the stability, and flexibility that this does.

I mounted this on top of my monopod, it adds a little weight but it sure gives more maneuverability.

I bought this one for my trekking pole, which has a 1/4"-20 tripod screw at the top for attaching either a cork ball with a a strap, or a camera, so the trekking pole doubles as a monopod. This ball head is compact enough to be almost just an end nob for the trekking pole. Yet the ball (28 mm) is large enough for handle weight of any camera or lens that I will be carrying on all my trips in the foreseeable future. The heaviest lens I have now is a Nikon 200-500 mm, which weights about 2300 g/5 lb 1.2 oz (including tripod collar). The lens and attached camera body feel very secure atop the trekking pole with this ball head. Good construction. All parts work smoothly. Glad I got this.
