I tried a Fotodiox M42 to Sony E adapter prior to purchasing the K&F version. The Fotodiox was not machined properly and did allow the rear aperture bar (Takumar 50mm f.1.4) to fit inside the mount. The K&F features a solid build and perfect fit!

I now have two K&F adapters, both for use with my Helios 44-4. The Sony NEX/E adapter works just as well as the Fuji X adapter. I have a Sony A7R3 and this works just fine with it, would happy repurchase this if needed.

I think this is well made and solid but I bought another one just as good from a different brand and for $10 less. In my opinion the price should go down a little.

Has a very nice feel to it, definitely seems to be better quality than the cheaper ones you see here. Nice fit and finish, no movement at all when attached to the camera.
