This is so great for what it is. Instead of adding a cable box for a bedroom, I purchased this and it really does work. Most of the time. If the weather isn’t too bad. You just find a place to stick it (either a window, or the wall, or even flat on the dresser) and using the tv remote, scan for channels and it will look for channels it picks up in the area. It gets anywhere from 20-40 channels, depending where you place it. Like I said, for the price and not having to deal with optimum it’s so worth it!

I cut the cord on cable and got this, works as it should. Placement is the critical. I do recommend this and the seller.

The reception is fantastic! The only drawback is having a big black square on your wall.

Checked reviews on sites like CNET and I picked this up on their advice. It was easy to install and sticks with 3M adhesive pads to the wall behind my TV. It comes with extra pads plus an amplifier, so you can tweak the position and reception. Definitely came in handy for NCAA basketball tournament games and checking local news. Build quality seems good and we haven’t had problems using it so far.

In my situation - it works for the most part. Was easy to hook up and get running and situated. Unfortunately even putting it as high as I can in the window I still have a limited line of sight to the local TV stations broadcasts and thus my actual pickup and quality is mixed. Also depends on what the weather is like that day. Some days I pick up more stations and more in the clear and others not so much. It's much better then most "indoor" Antennas but less then most "outdoor" roof level or higher Antenna

This Amplified HD Digital TV Antenna worked amazing. But, it took time and research to figure out where best to point it. I suggest using one of the apps to help do that and make sure you have a clear line of sight.

You have to constantly move the antenna around depending on what channel you end up watching. I generally watch 4-5 of the same channels and I can’t leave the antenna in the same spot for all of them so it becomes quite the inconvenience.
