The problem is no manal and you have to pull up on line to learn how to use. I still have not figured how to keep the unit on while mounted on the motorcycle.

Battery dies in minutes. Even at 1080p. A bit upsetting, but oh well. I strongly recommend it over a gopro. Video quality is superb, cost is cheap, wifi connectivity is useful, and it's withstood plenty of a beating.

I got this hoping I wouldn't need to end up getting a GoPro, but alas several problems with this mean I'll probably be returning it.First the good. The quality is pretty good. The fact that they let you specify the bit-rate (in terms of low, medium, and high) is a nice feature. In general I think the picture quality works well. But there are several things that are super problematic. One is that the Wifi mode, which lets you control the camera with your phone, can only be turned on when OUTSIDE the case and not attached to something. So if you get it inside the case and attached to something (like a head or chest piece, etc.) and have forgotten to turn on the Wifi, you have to unmount everything and take the camera out to turn it on. It's mind-blowing that this is the case. If the camera turns off because you're taking time to get everything mounted again, you have to re-enable Wifi again. The app that lets you control the camera doesn't give you access to all the features that are available to the camera directly, and some of them are very basic, like the FOV (wide, medium, etc.). So again, if you want to gain access to those features, you have to unmount it from an accessory, take it out of the case, set that, and then get it back in and set up again. Again, it's just mind-blowing that they haven't included all the features in the phone app. These glitches make it very painful to work with in a real-world way when trying to use attachments.Edit: I was using the water proof case that comes with the unit. I've now got the regular case installed and that does make it easier to enable various options, including the Wifi mode. But it would still be much more useful if Wifi could be enabled without having to get access to the screen. And yes, the camera app definitely needs to have all the functions, not just a subset.

I had the older sjcam for years, went travelling around Asia with it and it was great. Decided it Was time for a new one and this is great.Massive fan of the front screen and the menu is easy to get around.

Good camera. Directions in the manual could have been a bit clearer & more detailed. Control buttons are difficult to use while wearing gloves. Be sure to get a large capacity SD card (64GB or larger), even at 720p30fps an 60 minute movie took 4GB of space. Case needs a waterproof port to plug and external mic into. The built-in microphone is practically useless.

Haven't had it long, but, works great, even in low light conditions, and, much cheaper than a GoPro. Can be used as a dash cam also.

Great action camera. Takes great video with the option of an external microphone. I just wish they didn’t make their microphone connection a propiatory plug. Other than that it’s great for the money.

I bought this camera (which is a lot more expensive than much of it's non-gopro competition) specifically because the description says "External Microphone Supported" which is a feature I want, so that I can record sound from a different spot than the camera is located. So I ordered the SJ6 Legend, and a 4.5 star reviewed USB mic that fit's the mini-USB (not micro) connection. When I get it the microphone doesn't work. The camera clearly recognizes something is there because it cuts off the built in mic, but the external mic produces no sound. I confirm the mic works by plugging it into my computer, and then contacted the seller, where they informed me that the only mic that will work is the one SJCAM produces, which is not only more expensive and clearly lower quality than the one I bought, but only has a single 1 star review.Otherwise the camera works relatively well, but I am upset about spending ~$70 more than I had to just to not get the functionality I was looking for.Instructions are also quite lacking, but the camera is easy enough to operate despite this.I think 3 stars is generous.

This is the third camera I have bought within the last 2 weeks. My wife bought me a Vemico action camera for Xmas, it was a good but the batteries had issues with staying charged. She contacted amazon and returned it and I purchased an Akaso camera. That was an ok camera except there was a lot of work to adjust the settings. I returned that camera and picked up the sjcam 6lengend.Wow this camera is awesome. The settings are easy to make especially with the touch screen feature. The gyro stab is amazing. I mounted the sjcam initially to my bow sight and there was little to no distortion due to the shots. When I mounted the sjcam to my balancer, again there was little to no distortion. My only let down was that this does not have a zoom in feature. Other than that this camera is perfect

The camera is exactly what I expected it to be before I purchased it. Love the size and accessories it comes with. I played around with the settings the cons i can name... the sound quality isn't top notch but at the very least there's a mini usb port for an external mic for those who find sound very important for your adventures. The low light feature in this camera can be improved I'd prefer at least a night vision feature, and the 4k isn't real 4k. But these are things I can do without ...and the pro features I like is the distortion correction since I don't like fish eye lens, the size, the accessories it comes with, and the firmware updates, I'm impressed SJCAM updates every now and then while other companies just forget about their products when things go wrong. For the money it's worth it...And for those wondering how much time I can record on a 128gb Memory card (I use a sandisk class 10)4k Interpolated, 2k 30fps 1080p 60fps and 720p 120fps I can record up to 14 hours 9 minutes 18 seconds on a 128gb memory card1080p 30fps 19 hours 16 minutes of memory card recording time720p 60fps 21 hours 40 minutes 30 seconds of recording time720p 30fps 43 hours 21 minutes of recording timeThis may come in handy along with extra spare battery/ portable charger for those who are planning a trip away from home for a while.
