Camera Mount Clamp, Super Crab Clamp with Rotatable Clamping Block, 1/4" and 3/8" Thread Holes for Round Pipe Flat Surface, Camera Mounts, and Other Photographic K&F CONCEPT
SKU: KF31.218
This clamp has two opposing V-shaped grips for clamping onto round surfaces like a pipe or a round-bar roof rack for example, and also a pair of opposing flat plates that can be rotated over 180 degrees each to clamp onto flat surfaces.
The top of the clamp has two female threaded holes, one for 1/4" and one for 3/8" standard camera thread mounts. With those you can add any number of different camera accessories with the clamp serving as a solid base that you can fasten almost anywhere. This is truly a universal clamp to keep in your toolkit to be prepared for any situation.
In the photos, I've shown just one example where I used a 1" ball mount that has a male 1/4" x 20 threaded base. I mounted the clamp on the edge of a table and screwed the ball mount into the appropriate hole on the top. From there I can install a clamshell to extend the ball mount to whatever I need to have supported. Note that the 1" ball mount is not included with this clamp. I just used it to illustrate the clamp's utility.

Very solid clamp, made out of solid aluminum . The front jaws pivot so you can clamp flat surface or flip them over to clamp a pipe. I use this on a web cam clamped in the wife’s bathroom cabinet so she can see her hair to put coloring on. Plug the camera into a iPad and you have a instant mirror to see in the back.

This clamp is super- versatile with several options for mounting. I used a standard ¼” stud to connect to my action camera housing, which then allows me to clap the camera to many objects. The gripper feet swivel out of the way to so the inner jaws can grab round tube. Use the gripper feet to clamp on to flat surfaces. The tightening handle is comfortable and the machining of the threads is of high quality. This is a well- made piece of kit that I will keep on hand with all of my other mounting accessories helping me be prepared for any scenario in the studio or out in the field.

Really nice and versatile clamp! The build quality is excellent, with a solid all-metal construction and a design that feels rugged and durable. It has a quality feel in the hand without being bulky, and the rubber contact points help it grip securely while also protecting the surface it’s attached to.
What stands out most to me is the versatility. The rotating clamping blocks make this much more adaptable than a basic pole clamp. It works well on flat surfaces like desks and tabletops, but it can also clamp onto round objects like poles, rails, and stands. That makes it useful for a wide range of setups, especially if you use different mounting points depending on the situation.
The threaded mounting options are also very useful. Having 1/4" and 3/8" threads gives it a lot of flexibility for attaching accessories, magic arms, small lights, monitors, and other gear. For the size, it feels thoughtfully designed.
I would describe it as rugged and sturdy, but not “heavy duty” in the sense of holding a huge amount of weight. I would still use common sense and keep the load reasonable. For smaller monitors, lights, microphones, webcams, and lighter mirrorless or DSLR setups, it seems like a very practical tool. I would not risk using it with large or moderately heavy gear.
One thing worth noting is that K&F Concept has several different clamp styles on Amazon, and this one seems especially well suited for people who want to clamp to desks and other flat surfaces in addition to poles. If that sounds like your use case, this is a fantastic option. It’s worth browsing their clamp lineup to choose the version that best fits your particular application.

Beyond just securing the camera, this clamp's design is super versatile for all kinds of lighting and other needs. The compact size and ease of adjusting makes it useful for lots of projects. Lightweight and all-metal quality construction - good value for the money

This clamp seriously exceeded my expectations. The build quality is insanely good, and it feels way more solid and refined than the standard SmallRig magic clamp. Everything about it feels tighter, cleaner, and more confidence-inspiring when you lock it down. The materials feel premium, the knob has a great feel to it, and it just seems better designed overall. Definitely one of those accessories that feels like a real upgrade the moment you use it.

The K&F CONCEPT Camera Mount Clamp, Super Crab Clamp is an upgraded version of the clamp used in their Magic Arm Clamp Kit. This is not a stand-alone device. You will need the correct mount points. I had adapters to mount my tripod head to test for this review. This is the big brother clamp. It is bigger, heavier and can hold more than the kit clamp. It also has swivel plates on the jaws to better grip flat surfaces. The clamp is easily adjusted with the Big Orange Handle.
I mounted my tripod head on the clamp using adapters. When I clamped onto the desk, it wasn't very secure. You can see in the video that it wiggles. This was dynamic with a heavy load. With LED lighting, it was secure enough. The mount on the tripod leg was impressive. Very secure. And, because the end plates and the inside of the clamp are padded, there was no risk of scratching. It wasn't going anywhere. For a pipe, I used a rake handle. That was secure. It didn't slip or rotate. The inside of the clamp curved such that it spread the load over the pipe, not just a few touch points. I made sure to swivel the end plates in. They tend to wander about.
If you have the right mounting hardware, the K&F CONCEPT Super Crab Clamp is a secure way to use pipes, tripods, etc. during a session. It is very strong. On a pipe, I would trust it with my X100V. I will also use it to hold LED lighting at my desk.
At the time of review, the K&F CONCEPT Super Crab Clamp is a good value if you have a clamp arm or the such to work with it. However, the need for that kit limits its versatility.

Review:
The K&F CONCEPT Camera Mount Clamp is a surprisingly versatile little tool that every photographer or videographer should have in their kit. Despite its small size, it feels solid and well-built, and it opens up a lot of creative mounting options.
One of the standout features is the adjustable clamping system. The rotatable clamping blocks make it easy to attach the clamp to both flat surfaces and round objects like railings, pipes, or light stands. I’ve used it on tables, tripod legs, and even tree branches, and it holds firmly without slipping thanks to the rubber padding.
The multiple thread options (1/4" and 3/8") are also very useful. This makes it compatible with a wide range of accessories such as magic arms, small cameras, action cameras, LED lights, or monitors. It’s a great way to create unique shooting angles when a traditional tripod isn’t practical.
Another thing I appreciate is how lightweight it is. At only about 125g, it’s easy to throw in a camera bag and carry everywhere without adding noticeable weight. Yet it still feels strong enough to hold smaller cameras and accessories securely.
Overall, it’s a simple but highly practical mounting accessory that can expand your setup possibilities significantly.
Pros:
Strong clamp with adjustable rotating blocks
Works on both flat surfaces and round pipes
1/4" and 3/8" threaded holes for wide compatibility
Non-slip rubber pads improve stability
Lightweight and easy to carry in a camera bag
Cons:
Best suited for lightweight gear rather than heavy cameras
Summary:
This camera clamp is a compact but powerful mounting solution. With strong grip, flexible mounting options, and broad accessory compatibility, it’s a great tool for photographers, videographers, and content creators who want more creative shooting setups without carrying extra tripods.

Presentation: 5/5 - Nice little sealed box.
Quality: 5/5 - Looks and feels very strong and high quality.
Function: 5/5 - Holds really tight on either flat surface or rod.
Value: 3/5 - It's much smaller than I expected. The picture on the current listing gives no indication of the size. It's nice quality but I was expecting it to be bigger for the current list price of $24.99.

This is honestly one of the best clamps I’ve used that fits this type of design. The build quality feels solid, and it offers more versatility than most similar clamps. I really like that it includes multiple 1/4" and 3/8" threaded mounting options, which makes it easy to attach different photography accessories like lights, cameras, or monitors.
Another smart design feature is the clamping system itself. You can use the inner circular grip for pipes or round surfaces, or fold out the teeth to get a stronger grip on flatter or angled surfaces. That extra flexibility makes it much more useful than a typical single-style clamp.
Overall, it’s a really well thought-out piece of gear that looks sleek and performs great. Definitely recommend it.
