The K&F CONCEPT 22" Magic Arm is manufactured to a high standard and was very intuitive to use from second 1. It is quickly installed at the table and the mobile phone, a light or a camera can be installed. We use the arm to document the assembly of drones and it just works great. Really great!

Serves as a holder for an LED panel for the stream.

This 22-inch Magic Arm from K&F Concept is a very handy accessory for photo and video setups, especially when you need to position things precisely.
The arm is attached with a sturdy table clamp and can then be flexibly adjusted via several joints. This allows you to set virtually any desired position, whether height, angle or lateral orientation.
This is particularly helpful when it comes to product photography or still-life photography. When you photograph structures on a table, you often have to precisely position small cameras, smartphones or lights. With this Magic Arm, this can be adjusted very precisely.
I use it primarily for:
• small cameras or smartphones
• LED photo lights
• smaller accessories in the photo setup
The arm is stable when you tighten the locking screws properly. Still, I wouldn't attach heavy cameras to it, as it's more intended for lighter devices.
It is particularly practical that you can use this arm to make very fine adjustments to precisely align the light or camera, something that is often decisive in still-life or product photography.

K&F generally produce reliable camera accessories and this magic arm kit is no exception. Build quality is solid throughout. The arm feels sturdy when locked down, the anodised orange finish looks purposeful on a desk setup, and the rubber-padded clamp grips surfaces firmly without marking them. Setup is quick and the friction lock holds position reliably once tightened.
The kit includes a good range of mount adapters, covering standard threads, action camera mounts, and a phone holder, so whatever you're mounting (phone for video calls, action cam for overhead recording, small LED light etc) you're covered out of the box without needing to source extra adapters separately.
The weight limit is the key caveat: this is built for lightweight devices. Compact mirrorless cameras (such as the A6000 class), action cams, phones, and small lights are all fine. A full-size DSLR with a heavy lens will test the friction joints beyond their comfort zone. Size your expectations to the device and this is an excellent desk overhead solution.

I tried the K&F CONCEPT 22" Magic Arm (via the Amazon Vine program, but that doesn't affect my rating in any way). I wanted an arm that was longer and more resilient than the usual models so that I could flexibly position my smartphone, webcam or GoPro over my desk without the base wobbling.
Assembly and processing
The assembly was very uncomplicated: A single wing nut system reliably fixes the double 360° ball heads, and the super clamp fits table tops up to 50 mm thick or pipe rods up to 60 mm in diameter. The CNC-machined aluminum alloy makes a very solid impression — significantly more valuable than plastic solutions. The rotating silicone pads on the clamp ensure a good grip, even on smooth surfaces, and protect the material from scratches. The integrated 1/4” and 3/8” threads make it possible to mount a wide range of devices from mobile phones to small cameras to LED lights.
Function and suitability for everyday use
With an extension length of just under 58 cm, the position can be easily adjusted. I found it particularly pleasant that several joints can be fixed with one hand at the same time — handy when you have to change the setup in between. ARRI-like positioning pins prevent devices from turning unintentionally, which is critical when recording video. Even when fully extended, the arm remains surprisingly stable; only with heavy DSLR cameras do you have to pay minimal attention to vibration.

What I didn't expect: Despite its length, the arm is surprisingly light but very sturdy. The T-shaped buttons are easy to grip, sometimes a bit heavy if the arm has not been used for a long time, but that barely bothers. If you use the full length, you should have a sturdy surface, otherwise every small movement at the end of the arm will increase — but this can be easily avoided with a little care.

The Magic Arm makes a very good impression. The workmanship is good and with the three joints, it can be adjusted very flexibly. There is a telephone holder that has an additional hot shoe holder, e.g. for a video light, and has an additional 1/4" thread on the back. There is also another GoPro mount.
The clamp is surprisingly versatile. It has two 1/4" threads and one 3/4" thread at various points. It can also be attached to a table top up to 50 mm thick or to pipes.

I bought several similar articulated arms, mostly 11", but this 22" one is definitely the best of them all.
I found the system of connecting the 2 ends (i.e. clamp and webcam) with screw ring and two opposing plugs really excellent!
