9.8" Magic Arm with Super Clamp and Phone Clip, Magic Arm Clamp Kit with 1/4" & 3/8" Thread Screw, Articulating Friction Arm with Cold Shoe Clamp Mount for Monitor, LED Light, Webcam, Action Camera
SKU: KF31.131S2
This review is for the K&F Concept 9.8" Magic Arm with a super clamp and a phone holder.
Construction is all metal for the arm and the clamp but the phone holder is the typical plastic spring loaded type. I tested the clamp on a round post as well as a flat surface and it held nicely. The phone clamp can expand to hold a wider phone, and I tested it on a S24 Ultra with a case on, no problems with fit. The grip on the phone holder was good and I didn't feel as though the phone was going to slip out once secured.
The length of the arm added a lot of versatility for mounting options, not just for the phone but if you remove the phone holder, you can attach other small pieces of kit and position them exactly where you need them.

A great magic arm clamp and a solid addition to any media toolkit.
Pros:
Very sturdy and well designed.
Clamp is secure and well machined.
The threaded ends are solid and the rubber no slip grip for attached devices has a solid texture and grips items securely.
The paint job is clean and the color contrasts pleasing to the eyes.
All in all I cannot find any shortcoming in this vs Smallrig's version, so a very worthy alternative or competitor.

I am a big fan of clamps and having options to hold my tech, not only in my office as you will see, but having the versatility when I am out and about. This clamp does just that trick. You will see in my pic I am actually mounting the clamp on a more roundish rectangular "pipe" that is part of my Neewer rig. It holds perfectly.
I like this particular clamp because once you get the hang of the locking "knob" it has a lot of play that allows for swinging the arms in many different directions. It does control the phone clamp swivel as well so that is where you want to hold onto the arm as you make your adjusments.
I like the amount of play you have with the two arms giving you the 9.8" degree of length. That makes for a lot of action to be able to extend and retract the arms for the best possible angles.
The phone holder itself is a nice spring loaded design which makes it easy to add or remove your phone from the holder. You have two choices for how you attach the phone holder to the arm with the 1/4" screw insets to receive the male screws of the arm. You could easily use this phone holder on any standard tripods as well.
The clap itself has pad that keep your pipes or wherever you are connecting your clamp to from being scratched up or scarred. One last note is that I really do like the orange color of the clamp and arm tighteners. That is a snazzy touch. Oh last last note - always good that instructions are included with some helpful hints. I mean this is a pretty obvious setup, however, notes from the manufacturer are always appreciated.
Stoked to have this and that it is in my gear trove - oh and you can see how it would hold a phone - of course I had to take a picture with my phone, so you get a mock make up of what it would be if holding the equivalent.

At this point, I'll gladly choose anything that K&F offers as an alternative to "name brand" gear that may go for 2-3x the price. Their products are reliably high quality and feature rich.
Impressive build quality right out of the box. Feels great and machined well. This is the variation with the phone holder and I'm glad they don't charge a ton extra for those variations. Phone holder is a little cheaper build but perfectly adequate for an add on.
The locking knobs are smooth and this thing feels so solid. Everything is adequately padded to provide a tight and safe connection with all your gear. Their orange color way always looks nice and makes it stick out in a sea of black hardware in a case. Branding is clean unlike a lot of cheaper Chinese stuff. Nearly 10 inch is a super versatile length for being able to manipulate and the ends lock nicely.
Really can't go wrong, especially for the price!

This K&F Concept magic arm clamp is extremely versatile and well-made. The 360° ball heads give you full adjustability, making it easy to position a phone, light, monitor, or small camera exactly where you need it. The clamp itself is solid and grips surfaces securely without slipping, which is great for desks, tripods, or any setup where stability is important. The phone holder fits snugly and holds the device firmly in place. It’s also surprisingly compact and portable, so it’s easy to move between setups or pack for travel. The metal construction feels durable and capable of handling the weight of lights or monitors without bending. Overall, this is a high-quality, reliable magic arm that’s perfect for photography, videography, live streaming, or any setup requiring flexible positioning.

This high quality magic arm with clamp and phone holder is super easy to use. The clamp is nice and sturdy and the arms stay in place when tightened down. The phone holder is large enough for most phones but big and bulky cases may pose a problem. Good overall value.

I’ve used quite a few accessories from K&F Concept over time with my cameras and phone, and they’ve consistently been reliable for me. I currently use some of their gear with my Osmo Pocket, a 360 camera, and my phone setup, so I was excited to try this magic arm clamp. Right away it felt well made while still being lightweight enough to easily toss into a bag when I’m filming on the go.
One thing I really like about this mount is how simple it is to adjust. The single knob design makes it quick to loosen, reposition the arm, and tighten everything back into place. The ball heads allow for a lot of flexibility when finding the right angle, which is helpful when I’m trying to frame shots quickly. The clamp itself also feels secure, and the soft silicone padding helps it grip surfaces well without scratching tables, poles, or whatever you’re attaching it to.
I’ve mostly been using this for stationary shots while filming behind-the-scenes content for my small business, like clips of me making products or packing orders. For that type of setup, it works really well and holds my phone steadily. Overall, this is a handy little mount to keep in a gear bag if you like filming content, need extra mounting options, or just want something flexible for setting up different shooting angles.

K&F concept have put out some really nice video and photography items and I happen to own quite a bit because their brand lives up to the hype. This set is no different. The pieces are small yet robust meaning it’s not too bulky to get in the way and it’s sturdy and powerful enough to hold your gear steady in place. The build of the set is nice too with the two toned black and orange signature colors. The metal with the metallic orange tightening bolts stand out. Installation is straightforward, no instructions needed. Mount your gear, tighten to satisfaction and you’re ready to go. Once installed, there’s no swaying because the bolts are very strong. They are strong enough that I am not scared to trust my camera’s being attached. This is overall a great set.

This K&F Concept magic arm clamp kit is a very versatile mounting solution. The dual ball head design allows full 360° adjustment, making it easy to position a phone, camera, monitor, or microphone exactly where you want it. I added a K&F DJI Action 5 Pro mount, and it worked perfect for holding it.
The all-metal construction feels strong and durable, and the rubber pads help protect surfaces while improving grip. The clamp opens wide enough to attach to tripods, tables, poles, or rails, which makes it useful in many shooting setups.
The included phone holder is a nice bonus, and the single knob makes it quick to adjust and lock everything in place, but I would not ride with my phone mounted in it due to vibration and chance of it sliding out. Overall, it’s a sturdy, flexible mounting kit that works well for lightweight cameras, phones, and accessories.

The K&F Concept 9.8" Magic Arm Clamp is overall a pretty good piece of gear. I’ve used a lot of K&F Concept products, and I generally love what they produce. This one is no exception in terms of overall quality — but I can’t quite give it a full five stars.
First, the positives: the arm itself is solid and well built. The 360° ball heads allow for flexible positioning, and once tightened down, it holds securely. It doesn’t sag or drift under normal loads like a phone, small LED light, microphone, or compact monitor. The clamp grips well and feels sturdy when mounted to a bar or stand.
That said, there are a couple of minor issues. The rubberized pads on the jaw clamp are starting to slip slightly out of place. I’ve only mounted it to a single crossbar with very little pressure, so I was a bit surprised to see that happening. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s something worth noting.
My other preference would be for a 1/4" screw that spins independently. On this unit, the screw is stationary, meaning you have to rotate the accessory itself to thread it on. That can make mounting certain gear a little awkward compared to arms with a free-spinning threaded stud.
Aside from those small complaints, this is a strong, reliable magic arm that performs well and feels durable.
