The Magic Arm from K&F is well thought out from front to back.
It is very compact but still very stable and comparatively light. For example, you can easily mount a large monitor here without worry.
Both sides of the arm are generally equipped with a 1/4 inch screw, so that you can screw the arm directly into most cages or even on many stands. If this does not work, a high-quality, rubberized screw clamp is also included with which you can attach the arm to rods between 15 and 55 mm.
It is also very practical that the clamp also has a 3/8 inch thread to which you can then screw on further accessories or use the clamp for other multifunctional purposes without the arm.
It is also very practical that additional fixing holes are embedded on both screw holes. The clamp is therefore also compatible with classic ARRI mounts.

The included mobile phone holder is also minimalistic but very practical. It is also good that there are screw holes on the bottom and back, making you even more flexible when it comes to installation.

But as the real highlight of the arm, I really have to highlight the lock. All you have to do is screw the middle lock tight and the entire arm, including the two heads, is bomb-tight. As a result, you are much faster and more flexible, you have less risk of not having fully tightened a single lock and the heads can therefore also be used much more flexibly. You don't have another lever or screw that can get in the way but do everything through the middle.

Really very practical and well thought-out system.

All in all, there is really nothing to complain about.
The only thing you should note is that the cold-shoe adapter shown in part is not included. Otherwise, for just under 40€, an arm that is extremely practical and will probably last forever.

Got this K&F Concept Magic Arm for my action cam it looked like it could do the job. After unboxing it, it feels sturdy, well-built. It held my camera steady, no complaints there.

The super clamp is really great. It grips tight on my tripod's round bar, with a good weight limit and doesn't slip at all. Seems very reliable!

This set consists of three neatly finished aluminum parts: a flexible articulated arm, a mounting bracket and a mobile phone holder. The Amazon product page shows other well-illustrated applications, such as the placement of microphones, LED or flash lights, and colored filters for lighting effects. The flexibly adjustable articulated arm with its 1/4 inch thread provides connection for additional equipment. Practical: The handy clamping screw not only locks the position of the arms, but also the alignment of both 1/4 inch ball heads with just one turn.

The load capacity is specified as 2 kg. This should be sufficient for mobile LED lights or microphones. However, whether you want to put this weight together with the leverage of an extended articulated arm on a camera's hot shoe seems only conditionally recommended.

The term “Super Clamp” was originally coined by Manfrotto for a heavy clamp used in professional studio use. K&F uses it for a significantly smaller clamp. The grip on pipes is very good, but less convincing on flat, thinner objects — such as a simple shelf board. There, only the narrow front edges of the clip grip, which also have no rubber coating and can therefore leave marks on sensitive surfaces. Due to the comparatively low depth, the clamp also does not hold on table tops with heavily rounded edges. On the other hand, two universal screw holes (1/4 and 3/8 inch) on the back, which allow the articulated arm to be connected and open up additional options for mounting the clamp, are positive.

I use the combination at the studio table for product photos to place small, lightweight effect lights. In this scenario, the clamp can also be used without restrictions. The articulated arm, for example, carries an LED flashlight in an additional holder, which can be easily aligned and fixed to the toggle screw with a handle.

K&F is a brand that has always produced excellent quality products at the right price with great attention to detail and materials.

In this case, the famous magic arms, an arm that can be articulated in any position and clippable on any shelf or surface or even tubes so as to be supplied as a support for various devices, both for recording, such as a fairly light mirrorless or a smartphone with the supplied support, but also lighting systems such as portable spotlights with screw attachment or with the supplied support to add an action camera perhaps for taking special shots or time laps.

Another use is to screw it onto the camera cage in one of the holes and apply an accessory such as lights, microphones or the smartphone to resume our shooting.

Very solid, made of metal with good arm movement.
This brand is never wrong and even this time it produces a valid product at a reasonable price.

Magic arms are a brilliant invention that allows you to orient a 3/4"-20 mount in the desired angle and thus be able to light where you want easily just by screwing a screw!
Whatever the brand, it's always practical and I always have a few of them of different lengths in my bag that I take with me on all my shoots!
This one is accompanied by a so-called Super Clamp clamp ideal for fixing accessories on round tubes such as tripods or other and a smartphone clip.
I highly recommend without reservations!

The manufacturing quality of this “magic arm” is very good. It's metal, it's sturdy, easy to use, and a plastic phone holder is included. The maximum thickness will be 13 millimeters, beyond which the support is not secure.

The clamp will be able to hang on tubes of 15 to 50 millimeters in diameter, or pinch a surface, such as a table top, for example. It has screw threads in 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch formats, so it can be used with many accessories from the world of image, but also sound. I tested it with goosenecks and dynamic microphones, and it works very well.

The articulated arm has 1/4 inch screws at each end. Its operation is simple: you unscrew in the center and everything becomes adjustable, you screw back and everything becomes rigid. We will attach it to the clamp (or other supports) and hang compatible peripherals and accessories within a limit of 2 kilos. Tested with a DSLR equipped with a 300mm telephoto lens, it doesn't move a bit as long as you stay “level”.

And that is finally the only complaint I can make of him. As quarter-inch supports do not have locking pins, the use will be limited to maintaining very light equipment in any position, or heavier equipment as long as it stays straight, otherwise it may unscrew by itself under its own weight. This is all the more a shame since the clamp is compatible since it has small holes around the screw threads. But it's not hidden, we know what we're buying, so I'm not taking any stars off.

In the end, I am satisfied with this muscular little arm. The build quality is very good, it is solid and frankly practical. Sold for €39, it's an investment, but its quality/price ratio is justified by a design that is a bit more upscale and that has the arguments to verify it.
