As with most things from K&F, this lens strikes a nice balance between price and quality and makes a perfect addition to the Action 4 and 5 - I use both - kitbag for those times when standard FOV just isn't wide enough.This does come with caveats however, due to the width of the FOV, even using wide angle mode on the camera, significant fishbowl is visible on the camera viewfinder, something that can be fixed in post and is by no means a deal breaker.The lens is sharp at the centre though with some falloff at the edges, but again, too minimal to be considered a flaw, at least in my book.It is provided with a silicon top and bottom carry case and it's just a matter of twisting it on the camera when you want to use it, after removing the existing lens of course as, despite what it says one the packaging, this is a lens, not a filter.If you are new to these cameras you may find removing the OEM lens difficult at first as they seem to come out of the factory screwed on super tight, just persevere as once the seal is broken it should screw off quite easily in future.

Superb quality wide angle lens from K&F Concept.Solid construction with high quality, optical glass which gives a lovely clear image, just wider.It's a bit of a fish eye but this can be improved by using the "FOV boost lens" setting (make sure you have latest firmware installed), this setting disables slow motion so if you wanted that you'd need to remember to disable the setting first.I wouldn't use this lens if possibly going to use underwater, but for any walking, climbing, cycling etc it just gives a little wide angle boost to your footage.Works beautifully on the 4 and 5, basically acting like an original lens, solid screw in action.Really impressed with the quality.

I picked up this wide‑angle lens for my Osmo Action, and it definitely delivers on giving you a much wider field of view. The 185° perspective makes a noticeable difference when you’re trying to capture more scenery or get a more immersive action shot. The threaded installation is simple: just unscrew the stock lens and screw this one on. Once it is seated, it feels solid and secure and ready to shoot the best colors.The build quality is good. The optical glass looks clean, the nano‑coating helps with reflections, and the metal housing feels durable enough for daily use. I also like that it comes with a protective silicone case, since the front element sticks out more than the stock lens and needs the extra protection.I’m giving it four stars because while the center of the image stays sharp, the edges do get softer, and you can see some distortion depending on the lighting and angle. It is expected with a lens this wide, but to me they look a little worse than what they should be. This is something to keep in mind if you’re picky about edge clarity. It’s also not waterproof, so you have to be careful around water or bad weather.Overall, it’s a solid wide‑angle upgrade that gives you a dramatic boost in field of view with easy installation and good build quality. A strong performer with a few optical trade‑offs.

Works great and is a few grams lighter than the DJI version.
