I have a Mini Pro 5 and was interested in trying filters for the first time. These took a little while to suss out, but there are tutorials on YouTube regarding when and why to use them, and also how to fit. They clip on snugly over my DJI Mini Pro 5 lens, and don't feel like they'll be coming off during flight time. I'd need a good few hours to test all the different lenses out, and reproduce the footage on my pc, but so far so good. I only film countryside scenes (for my wild camping YT channel) and the richness of greens was easily apparent as opposed to not having a filter on. Unsure how much use I'll get from them, as I use a lot of 'master shot' settings on my drone, and shots like these encompass 360 degree turns.

The filters are protected inside a rigid, translucent storage case which makes them easier to take them out with you and just chuck them in your bag. The filters are designed to filter out light and glare which can make your pictures and video footage look over saturated with brightness. Since you fly your drone in all directions, you will at some point be pointing towards the sun or bright reflections. Filters help by reducing the amount of light getting to the camera lens and it will give you a more accurate exposure across all of your footage and reduce the amount of glare. They can enhance contrast and make colours more vivid depending on what type of filters you use. These filters are designed for the Mini 5 Pro and simply clip onto your gimbal. They don’t restrict the gimbal and are light enough to not hinder its movement at all. The filters include polarisation and neutral density which helps reduce the amount of light getting to your lens and helps against reflections while also enhancing your colours. There is nothing to set up, just clip on a filter and your good to go. There are four strengths included so you can take footage in a variety of lighting conditions. I no longer have to think about flying toward the sun or over water due to reflections. The image is slightly darker but has better contrast and colours seem to stand out more. It looks like something you can do in post processing but by using a filter, it can be done straight away without having to play around with software with your recorded footage. A reasonably priced way to improve the picture quality of your pictures and video footage…

Paid 36.99€ (now they are also discounted to 33€ with coupons) and I must say that they confirm what I already knew about the K&F brand: they are not “pro” cinema filters, but they are exactly in that very high quality range at a price that is still affordable, which is the reason why they exist as a brand.

The yield is excellent, the glass is clean, well treated and does not give strange dominants. The construction is light but solid, and the attachment system is precise: once assembled, they remain stationary, no adjustments are needed and the gimbal does not cause problems.

The ND range is complete, from 4 to 1000, so it covers practically any light condition. The only thing I noticed is that with the “sharpest” filters (ND64 and ND1000) there is a slight drop in saturation, nothing serious but it can be seen if you compare the shot with and without a filter.

Overall, however, it is a set that allows you to manage the light properly without having to increase the price in the “professional” range, and that's exactly what I was looking for.

The Mini 5 Pro camera has been completely redesigned compared to the previous models of the series and therefore it was immediately necessary for me to search for new filters specially created for this new drone model. For those who don't know, on this type of device, ND (Neutral Density) filters are an almost indispensable accessory to compensate for the fixed focal aperture of the lens. They are therefore not used to create special effects or work on shades of color, but they act roughly like sunglasses to obtain, among other things, more cinematic video footage. An even more important aspect if we consider that almost certainly through a drone you are going to create videos with many changes of direction and orientation and, consequently, also of light. The solution has always been to prepare multiple filters, to be attached and removed from the drone's camera head for every use and need. All in all, a simple operation, but which in certain environments or situations can still be slightly laborious and in any case risks making us miss the ideal moment for a shot or a shot. So here is the solution, as far as I know at the moment, unique, of this filter that guarantees, with the sole adjustment of the serrated metal ring, the range from five to nine stops. Without going into details, the acronym ND32 means exactly “Neutral Density - two raised to the fifth”, that is thirty-two. As a result, we will have five filters in one, 2^5=32, 2^6=64, 128, 256, and 512. The higher the final number, the stronger the “darkening” effect will be: in fact, only a quantity of light equal to the reciprocal of the indicated value will pass (for example, for the ND32/5 stop, only thirty-second of the light that hits the filter will pass). The additional advantage of this solution is that, since the ring is totally free, it is possible to set even intermediate shades in total freedom and at will. The only relative criticism that can be directed to this product is that the brightest level is already dark enough, namely the ND32. In general, in overcast situations or in any case in case of dim ambient light, light filters such as ND8 and ND16 (3 and 4 stops respectively) are used, which this accessory does not offer. Basically, ease of use, smaller dimensions and greater freedom in configuration: advantages that should not be underestimated at all. Let's now talk about the build quality of the filter. The black plastic part is of excellent quality and attaches perfectly and very firmly to the optical group of the Mini 5 Pro. The knurled ring allows easy alignment to the desired value without any effort and with maximum precision. If you want, to do a test, you can bring the filter in front of the pupil of one eye and look through it. By turning the ring, you will realize, literally with your own eyes, how it works and how it works optimally. I have no objection to the quality of the lens, it behaves perfectly without distortions or chromatic alterations, of course with the exception of the darkening effect. As a last structural aspect, I inserted a photo showing the filter mounted on the lens with the plastic protector inserted on the drone. The two elements do not come into contact in any way and therefore there is no way that they can damage or ruin each other. The overall final evaluation of this filter is the natural consequence of these reflections. An excellent accessory from all points of view. Last but not least, the price is certainly lower than that of a set of five distinct filters with fixed gradation. Five stars with well-deserved praise.

K&F Concept is a brand that is slowly but surely rising among photographers in general and in my personal photographic accessories in particular. Good quality/price ratios in general, with serious manufacturing quality and generally well thought-out concepts. These filters are no exception. When you buy the DJI Mini 5 Pro Fly More Bundle, only 3 ND filters (8, 32, 128) are provided. That is good, but unfortunately, they are not necessarily the most useful in reality and above all, the others are missing. Those who are present in this kit proposed by K&F Concept precisely! (16, for example, is still the one I use most often personally). Well housed and protected in their rigid plastic box where each of them is securely held in their small personal foam case, they will perfectly fulfill the task assigned to them in general when filming: to give a much more “kinematic” motion blur while attenuating the entry of light on the sensor. Therefore, depending on the very different lights that the Sun can give, the choice of attenuations is therefore well distributed across these filters. The glass and its anti-reflective treatment are of high quality, so there will be no unsightly artifacts in the images. The mount is made of very good quality plastic, so no worries about snagging or unhooking the filters once in flight. Of course, they are small, you will have to be careful when attaching them to the drone lens. In the end, at less than €35 for the 6 quality filters, the deal seems excellent to me if —of course— you want your drone images to be of the highest quality possible.

This K&F CONCEPT Set of 6 ND Filters is a fundamental accessory that has raised the quality of my shots with the DJI Mini 5 Pro. The compatibility is perfect; the filters attach to the drone's lens precisely and remain firm even during fast flight. The range of Neutral Density Filters is complete, from ND4 to ND1000, covering every light condition, from dusk to bright sun, allowing me to always maintain the correct cinema shutter speed. The Multi-Coated HD Optical Glass is exceptional, does not introduce color dominants and guarantees sharp, reflection-free images. Despite the optical quality, the Plastic Frame is incredibly light and does not affect the gimbal's balance. I recommend this set to anyone who wants to maximize the video potential of their Mini 5 Pro, obtaining smooth and professional movies.

This set of filters for the DJI Mini 5 pro fit perfectly and snugly and seem to be very secure. They're clear and flawless. I've not tested the full set, due to very dull conditions in recent weeks, but there's a great range here for all conditions, helping with colour balance and glare reduction.Really happy with the set and seems to be reasonable value at £38.69 (with voucher applied) for a good quality full set.

Upon receipt, the packaging is clean and well thought out: a small rigid case contains the four ND filters (8, 16, 32, 64). The filters are tiny, but their finish inspires confidence, the aluminum frame is thin, solid, and above all very light.

Mounting on the Mini 5 Pro is quick: you simply clip the filter onto the lens, without forcing it. At first, you have to get the hang of it to align properly, but then it becomes a natural gesture. No problems calibrating the gimbal, even with the ND64.

On the rendering side, the result is excellent: the images are more balanced, the shutter speed remains fluid, and the colorimetry remains neutral (no magenta or green drift). The ND8 is perfect for slightly overcast skies, the ND32 and ND64 are great in full sun.

The filters in this set are custom fitting for the Mini Pro 5 drone lens, and this range comprises five filters which are combined neutral density/polarising filter and one standard circular polariser. The ND/PL ones are ND4, ND8, ND16, ND32 and ND64 and the CPL is a straightforward polariser. The front of each filter has a very lightly grooved rotating ring stiff enough to avoid rotating during flight and will need to be set before flight to the required polarising/density requirements. A tiny white mark around the outer edge of the ring and a small white mark on the filter body act to serve how much the filter has been rotated. The filters weigh less than a gram so ‘should’ keep the drone below the all-important 250g take-off weight, and the filters clip firmly onto the front of the drone lens so shouldn’t come loose during flight. It’s useful too that filters can be left in place and the lens protector strap fitted over it when the drone is packed down and transported. The filters work well in practice, most useful for me is the polarising effect for reducing reflections – it took me a little bit of experimenting to find the best rotation position but the white calibrations help to retain the best setting for subsequent flights. The filter set comes supplied in a flip top case with foam insets to keep the filers safe. I found removing them from the foam slots very fiddly but if they are reinserted at 90 degrees from the original position they are much easier to remove and replace (see photos for the two positions).

I've been really impressed with K&F filters recently. Years ago I had some and they felt a bit cheap, but modern K&F stuff seems very well constructed (and well priced!)I don't have a DJI Mini myself, but a friend of mine has and he lets me use it, he uses his indoors to film building interiors, however I use it outdoors and these are awesome. The ND filters attach really easily and the CPL aspect works brilliantly. I found the CPL a bit fiddly to start with and if you're swooping the DJI around then it's not going to be too effective, but if you're doing a take-off and land straight up and down then you can set it 'in hand' to nail it and the results are incredible - foliage after rain looks insanely amazing - the reflections are removed and you're left with really rich greens and yellows. This comes in a handy case (the same sort of case you get a filter in for a full size camera lens) which keeps them safe and easy to access. If you are videoing using a drone outdoors then ND filters are a must-have, and these are very well priced for such an effective solution.
