Unfortunately, I’m not able to write a proper review because I have the X3 and didn’t realize this was for the X5. However, I will say it is very sturdy and I love the design. I’d love to have one that fits my X3, and I’m a little bummed I can’t use it. I was able to test that the invisibility feature works, so that’s good. Although I couldn’t actually use it, it seems like a very nice accessory and it much more affordable than others I’ve seen.

I wasn't expecting the whole thing to be mostly aluminum; the overall quality feels much better than expected for the price. Its primary function, becoming invisible in the 360 footage, works seamlessly, giving those dynamic perspectives I wanted. The magnetic quick release is simple and fast, which is key for my work when I’m moving between setups quickly. I appreciate that it extends longer than some of the original equipment poles, giving me a wider shooting field of view. The handle grip has a comfortable, nonslippery silicone covering, which aids in maintaining a solid grip even when I’m moving fast. I’ve used the bottom 1/4 screw interface to attach it to a tripod base, boosting its versatility significantly. Just be mindful of the quick release buttons’ placement near the folding mechanism, as it’s easy to press the wrong one accidentally when collapsing it.

This will work with other Insta360 models--- BUT--- you have to buy a quick release mount for it to work. I knew this beforehand, so I was aware of how to use this stick with other Insta360s. Very pleased that it works with an adapter.

This is great as a walking around selfie stick. The quick release works great with my X5 and X5 cage with the quick release adapter. It has a great lock to ensure that your camera does not fall off accidentally. There is a release for the hinge so that you can fold it over to make it nice and compact. The selfie stick is nice and compact too when compressed so that I can put the whole thing in my jacket pocket without pulling the camera off the selfie stick. Nice that it comes with a lens protector to keep your camera lens from scratching from keys or other things that I may have forgotten in my pocket. The selfie stick grip is pretty standard and easy to hold. The mechanism seems great quality and durable. Super easy to use, just set your camera into the quick release, lock it, and pull out the extensions to take selfies. This is very reasonably priced for the quality of the product.

I accidentally got this for the wrong camera, so I can't give a super in-depth review on functionality; however, I can absolutely comment on the build and look of the item itself! This is a super solid, well-made selfie stick. It's very heavy, but in a good way; very solid construction with nothing wobbly. It's also aesthetically pleasing. Overall, definitely worth it!

So, funny story...I ordered this thinking it was for my phone. Spoiler alert: it’s not. It turns out it’s made for an Insta camera! Luckily, my brother has one, so he scored a surprise gift. He says it’s “super cool” and he likes that it is compact, easy to use, and the magnetic quick-release works well. Honestly, even I was impressed by how sturdy and sleek it is. If you’ve got the right camera, this little gadget is a total win. (If not, you might end up being your sibling’s favorite person like me!)

In another late night shopping visit to Kentfaith, I saw this and thought it would be GREAT to use with a phone.Uh .. except it doesn’t work with a phone. It only works with the Insta360 X5 camera. I don’t have an Insta360 X5 camera. I didn’t know about the Insta360 X5 camera, and looked into them after realizing that I’d bought something I couldn’t use. They look amazing! They also look like a ton of money.I pulled this out of its packaging and was very impressed with the quality and think it’s a great value. I’m still not going to buy an Insta360 X5 camera.

Will work with an X3 with a quick-release adapter plate. I was contemplating this one & the OEM Insta360 folding one with the tripod in the base, but this is much better for my application. This one is about 10" longer than the OEM folding and has the threaded base for handlebar attachment as I use it for off-road riding. With the adapter plate it doesn't add much length, maybe a 1/4" and still sits flush with the handle when folded. The adapter was an additional $15 ontop of the cost of the handle.. so estimate $50 total, but the extra length was the gamechanger (even longer than the 85cm Insta360 oem straight stick). Heres the link to the plate I purchased. Fits perfect & you only need the top portion... & it has a flathead screw under the base for proper tightening. Hope this helps anyone looking to fit this on an older model Insta.

An extremely helpful addition to the Insta360, the click-in mounting system is fantastic. For me, the stick could be a bit longer, but it fits. It also has slightly less play than the original stick – at the grip. I wouldn't want to be without the quick-release mount anymore; it makes it much faster to adapt to different setups without having to fiddle around with screws.
