I’ve been using it over the past couple of days mainly to protect a 360-degree action camera while mounting extra accessories for handheld shooting, tripod work, and light vlogging setups. First impressions were very positive, as the aluminium alloy construction feels robust and precisely machined, with no sharp edges or flex when handled.Installation is quick and intuitive thanks to the snap-on design. The camera drops in securely and locks into place with a reassuring click, staying firmly held even when moving between mounts or adjusting angles. Once fitted, all buttons, the charging port, and the battery compartment remain fully accessible, which makes it practical for real-world use without constantly removing the cage. The built-in charging access is particularly useful for longer recording sessions. The expansion options are a strong highlight. The two cold shoe mounts allow easy attachment of a microphone or small LED light without affecting balance, and the integrated 1/4 inch screw points work well with tripods, selfie sticks, ball heads, and clamps. Switching between horizontal and vertical setups is straightforward, and the bottom quick-release interface makes changing mounts fast and hassle-free.In use, the cage provides good all-round protection without interfering with 360-degree footage. There is no visible obstruction in recorded content, and the included silicone lens cover adds an extra layer of protection when the camera is not in use. Build quality feels premium, with tight tolerances and a finish that should stand up well to regular use.One small downside is that the added metal frame does increase overall weight slightly, which is noticeable during extended handheld shooting. It is not excessive, but something to be aware of if you prioritise ultra-light setups.Overall, this has met my expectations. It feels like a well-designed, durable accessory that balances protection, expandability, and usability very effectively, and it should suit anyone looking to build a more versatile and secure shooting setup.

The K&F aluminium protective cage feels like a proper upgrade for the Osmo 360. It’s lightweight but solid, and once the camera is mounted it is very protected without adding unnecessary bulk.Fit and finish are excellent on the whole. The camera slides in easily, and while alignment takes a little attention the first time, it quickly becomes second nature. The locking lever gives a firm, reassuring click, so there’s no concern about the camera shifting or coming loose during use. All ports remain accessible, and the built in magnetic charging interface is particularly useful as it lets you top up the battery without removing the cage.Protection is clearly the priority here. The aluminium frame offers good all-round impact resistance, and the included silicone lens cover is essential when the camera isn’t in use. Given how exposed 360 lenses are, this alone adds a lot of peace of mind, especially when travelling or shooting outdoors.Mounting flexibility is another strong point. The two 1/4" threads and cold shoe mounts make it easy to attach tripods, lights, or microphones without wobble. It works well with DJI’s magnetic quick-release system, and I had no issues using wireless microphones or small accessories. Based on experience, sticking with compatible K&F accessories avoids fit issues seen with some third-party mounts.Compared to the official mount, this cage offers far better protection while remaining practical for everyday shooting. It may seem slightly expensive at first, but the build quality, charging convenience, and genuine protection justify the cost.Overall, this is a robust, well designed cage that protects an expensive camera while keeping it easy to use. Highly recommended if you use the Osmo 360 regularly, especially for travel or outdoor filming.

This is an excellent protective cage for dji osmo 360 , it's completely compatible with dji osmo 360 and it's accessories. It offers protection from drops and general use , once connected to the camera, it can be used just as normal, the buttons, charging line up perfectly for hassle free operation whilst offering protection and cold shoe mounts for adding microphones, lights and other accessories. There's also 1/4 screw connection too so it's an excellent cage to use with osmo 360.The cage is a metal design, but it's not too bulky or cumbersome, it's a sleek design, lightweight, it comes with silicone cover for lens protection and is an excellent option for adding protection to an expensive camera.I think it's good for protection against knocks and bumps when filming outdoors , hiking , camping but is good for general use for the added bonus of attachment possibilities with the mounts and attachment points.
Adds excellent drop protection and improves functionality, solid metal cage, lightweight

I was initially quite sceptical about this K&F Concepts cage since just under £45 seemed quite expensive for a “tin box“ that sits around the camera. After having used it for a couple of days, though, it has more than justified the price. As with all of the other K&F concepts gear that I own, it is well designed, well engineered, and well packaged. The cage allows you to easily slide the camera in and lock it in place, it sits snugly around the camera once it is located and latched in, and it provides a number of benefits once it has been fitted. All controls and ports remain accessible once the cage is in place. The base offers the ability to use either 1/4 screw tripod or the DJI magnetic QR system. There are 2 cold shoe spots on the outside - one on the top which I shall be using to hold my DJI Mic Mini when it is not fastened to my clothes (I don't know how other people manage, but I consistently lose the microphone since it is so tiny!), and one on the side which will be used to hold a video light on the rare occasions when one is needed.Since the cage adds a small amount to the width of the camera, it also comes with a pair of silicon lens protectors for use in place of the protectors that DJI provide. These covers are the first I have seem that come connected by a band of silicon instead of forming part of a hood for the camera. I find the strap configuration much more acceptable than the the hood configuration, since there's no more scraping the hood over the lens to fit it in place. I can just put one cover in place, stretch the cover out and snap the other cover over the other lens. I always used to cringe whenever I felt the hood cover slide over the lens, just In case there was a particle of grit or sand that I hadn't spotted, and this style of fastening removes that issue.I now think that this cage is absolutely brilliant, and it is my favourite protective housing for my camera. Very much recommended.

This fits the Osmo 360 extremely well and looks great to boot. The cage provides excellent protection but retains access to all parts of the camera. The lens cover is an excellent addition that provides full protection for the dual lenses but small enough I can still fit the caged camera in my case for a caged 360 with it on. This wasn't possible with the full OEM style protectors because of the extra material around the top and sides with that design. This is very well made and well finished as well. It's easy to install and remove the camera and the latches are smooth and easy to engage or release. This is more expensive than the others I have but it has a bit of extra polish plus the lens cover is worth the difference to me.

We get the cage and a silicone lens cover in simple packaging. The latter doesn't really convince me one hundred percent, but it is a functional solution, and the Osmo 360 lenses don't leave much room for other variants.

The cage, on the other hand, fits perfectly and is closed with just one snap. The mechanism is as simple as it is safe. The great workmanship is immediately noticeable again, the metal is neatly processed and deburred, thick enough to actually provide protection, but not particularly heavy. The color accents on the closure and the functional button are successful visual highlights.

Functionally, this cage primarily offers two ColdShoe mounts for accessories, finally. This quickly turns the Osmo360 into a full-fledged little rig, as well as two 1/4" threads, and the magnetic mount, which even loops through the power supply.

Basically, K&F has thought of everything here and leaves nothing to be desired, and the implementation has been successful.

I picked up this K&F CONCEPT metal cage to add protection to my DJI Osmo 360 when using it on a 10-foot carbon fiber selfie stick. That setup puts the camera close to the ground, buildings, and other hard surfaces, so some extra protection made sense.I already own quite a few K&F CONCEPT products and have had consistently good experiences with them, so I felt comfortable trying this cage. The cage fits the Osmo 360 snugly and feels solid once installed. There is no rattling or movement inside the cage. When shooting in 360 mode, the cage does not show up in the footage based on what I could see during testing, which was one of my main concerns. With the cage installed, I still have full access to the battery compartment, the memory card slot, and the USB-C port. I was able to swap batteries, change cards, and plug in a charging cable without removing the cage. Everything lines up well and works seamlessly.Where I ran into issues was with mounting. I tested several magnetic mounts, including the K&F magnetic shoe, a DJI base, and a Cinova magnetic mount with clips. All of them had the same issue once the cage was installed. The connection felt loose and slightly wobbly. It worked, but not well enough that I would trust it on a long selfie stick. Without the cage, those same mounts feel solid and work great. The simple workaround is to skip magnetic mounts entirely and screw the selfie stick directly into the threaded mount on the bottom of the cage. That setup felt very secure and gave me no concerns at all.I also like the included lens cover. It fits securely over the cage and does a good job protecting the lenses during storage and transport. It is an extra piece to keep track of, but not a problem in real use. This cage will not protect the camera from a full face-first impact, but it does a good job guarding against corner hits, scrapes, and accidental bumps, which is exactly what I wanted for ground-level shots and transitions near buildings.Pros:Snug, solid fit around the DJI Osmo 360Metal construction feels sturdyDoes not appear in 360 footage during useFull access to battery, memory card, and USB-C portThe threaded mount provides a very secure connectionLens cover fits well and protects during storageCons:Magnetic mounts feel loose with the cage installedNot ideal if you rely on quick-release magnetic basesSummary:This is a well-built protective cage from a manufacturer I have had good luck with across multiple products. As long as you plan to use the threaded mount instead of magnetic mounts, it works very well. I would buy it again for the type of shooting I do.

I’m genuinely blown away by this cage from K&F Concept. It’s extremely well made, easy to install, and feels properly robust once fitted to the DJI Osmo 360. Despite being a full metal cage, it doesn’t interfere with 360° footage at all, which is absolutely crucial for this type of camera. The expansion options are excellent. The dual cold shoe mounts and 1/4” threads make it easy to add lights and microphones, which has been a big upgrade for vlogging. I also really appreciate that all ports remain accessible, including charging. The included silicone lens cover is a thoughtful touch and offers extra peace of mind when the camera’s not in use. Overall, this is a superb accessory and has become a permanent part of my Osmo 360 setup.

The K&F Concept frame cage set for the DJI Osmo 360 arrived professionally packaged in a full colour printed cardboard box bearing the K&F branding. The cage is well built from aluminium alloy and fits the DJI Osmo 360 snugly without having to use any tools. All controls are still accessible when the cage is in place and features two 1/4" threaded holes for tripod mounting while the two built in cold shoe mounts add to the overall versatility allowing more accessories to be mounted.A good value kit for DJI Osmo 360 owners.

The cage fits the Osmo 360 a little bit loosely, but over all it functions well. Works great with the original DJI quick release mounts, but the new bi directional ones still work, but they don't play so well as the magnets fight eachother a bit. Latches firmly and has a fair options for mounting non quick release attachments.A big note, while it is a tiny bit loose with the Osmo 360, this is the only cage I have see that fits the Xtra Sphra 360 without needing to modify the cage as the Xtra is hair larger than the Osmo, but the magnetic quick release on the Xtra is the same as the new bi dirctional DJI mounts, so it will push a tiny bit forward or backward at the bottom.
