As the title says this mount was used with the Asako v50x camera and standard case, the mount itself has a rubber plastic Y shaped finish with 2 pinch clip adjustable straps that go around the front of your lower helmet. The fit is standard for a mount like this, you can adjust it to the size of the lower part of the helmet easily as for the straps, the quality isn't great as the clasp to hold it can come loose easily, but installing was straight forward. The functionality using it with the v50x was good, the connection is simple and had no trouble tightening it in place. If your on budget this will definitely tie you over, as its okay for the money.

Another thoroughly positive surprise from the Land of the Rising Sun!

When helmet parts interfere with the image, who for other reasons can't cope with a goggle strap holder, as an enduro rider in demanding terrain does not want the dangerous Teletub tower on their helmet, or finds adhesive pads impractical but still needs an immersive FPV perspective, reach for either a chest harness or this chin strap holder.

The Chinese manufacturer K&F Concept actually doesn't promise too much with the reference to several years of development work and attention to detail on the small product insert. This is because the semi-hard Y-shaped base, lined with a rubber mat, is sensibly shaped, the four nylon straps are not firmly sewn - as is usual in the low-cost sector - but threaded through loops and can therefore be replaced or extended. The two quick-release fasteners with length adjustment snap in place and hold reliably - at least on my Airoh motocross helmet.

The two GoPro arms of different lengths with an extra 1/4 inch adapter (rubber disc is not included and must be manufactured by yourself if required) are robust and cleanly manufactured and should also fit cameras with an elongated form factor, such as the Sony X3000 or AS200V. The lock screws are easy to operate with gloves if you need to fine-tune the camera orientation while on the go. In addition, there are metal inserts everywhere, so no plastic threads break out.

And finally, the durable, robust mix of materials doesn't take offense when it gets really sweaty, dirty or wet. Easy to clean with detergent and hot water.

In my opinion, just under fifteen euros is a competitive prize - anyone who needs a removable mount for the chin rest of a full-face helmet takes it and I earn five points.

Full set with multiple length extenders, good rubber padding to keep the camera in place. One of the thread is not well made, and the screw gets stuck instead of drilling into the bolt.Nevertheless, most works well, and bolts are secured, so it's easy to use.I wished it could be tilted for vertical format though.

I recently received the K&F Concept Chin Mount for action cameras, and it has quickly become one of my favourite accessories. As someone who uses action cameras regularly for both hobbies and work, capturing POV shots is essential, and this mount is absolutely perfect for that purpose. The design is sturdy and secure, giving me complete confidence that my camera will stay in place during fast-paced activities. The angle it provides is excellent for immersive first-person footage, and it’s very comfortable to wear for extended periods. Whether I’m out cycling, climbing, or filming work sequences, it delivers consistently smooth and stable footage.I already own a few different K&F Concept protective kits and mounts, and just like those, this chin mount meets the same high standard of quality and durability. Their products never disappoint, and this one is no exception. It’s well-built, reliable, and ideal for anyone serious about getting dynamic action shots.Easy to install to any helmet, and the mountings are easy to connect quickly and compatibility with other cameras and mountings.Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their POV filming experience!

Straight out of the box, the motorcycle helmet chin mount strap feels well made and solid, with an integrally moulded ABS base plate that has no flex when pressure is applied. The gasket is made from soft, textured silicone, which increases friction and prevents lateral slip when the helmet surface vibrates at speed. I fitted this onto a full-face road helmet and tested it both at low urban speeds and at higher dual-carriageway speeds to see how well it held its position. The Y-shaped structure sits neatly on the chin vent area, and the curvature matches the contour of most modern helmets. Once in place, the included carabiner lock adds a reassuring secondary restraint that prevents the straps from loosening during riding. The upgraded elasticated straps have a good balance of stiffness and stretch, so they maintain tension without causing pressure points. The buckle system is noticeably smoother than older friction-loop designs, making it quicker to mount and remove. In terms of performance, the anti-vibration behaviour is better than expected for a strap-based system. The silicone dampening helps absorb high-frequency buzz that normally appears in footage from cheaper chin mounts. When reviewing the video, the motion was mainly linked to helmet movement rather than mount instability, which suggests the mount maintains its clamping force consistently. The three-jaw connector and 1/4 inch adapter both lock cleanly with minimal play, which helps maintain the chosen shooting angle.I tested multiple orientations by stacking the included joints, and the mount tolerated the extra leverage without sagging. Angle adjustments remain firm thanks to the metal-threaded screws, and there is no drift even after prolonged vibration. This is important for riders who want a stable first-person field of view during longer sessions.A minor drawback is that the strap length is slightly tight on helmets with a deep chin extension. It works, but you may find yourself using the maximum adjustment range. Adding a few extra centimetres would make it more universally adaptable.Despite this small issue, it feels like a reliable and well-made product.

This chin mount strap works perfectly for action cameras! The non-slip silicone keeps the camera stable on your helmet, and it fits a variety of models like GoPro, Insta360, and DJI OSMO. Durable, easy to attach, and definitely worth the money.

This motorcycle helmet chin mount is exactly what I needed!Installation was a breeze it took less than two minutes to securely attach it to my helmets chin vent. The fit is rock solid I’ve taken it out on off road tracks and my action camera hasn’t budged an inch. The footage angle is fantastic as it gives a true first-person view of the ride without distracting vibrations. It’s much more stable and centred than my previous side mount. If you want immersive POV footage from your action camera this is the perfect mount and is a must by.

Got this as I am slowly more and more getting into mountain biking and this is great, easy to adjust and I can see it being able to fit a lot of different helmets. Easy to fit and can go fairly tight meaning it won't be shaking around that much on your head, I also trust it a lot more than the usual mounts for helmets which require you using adhesive.Overall a fairly cheap and reliable camera mount for Mountain Biking or for motorcyclists.

Well designed and well made. And well thought through.Works perfectly with my Osmo action five.Very flexible mounting options and seem like quality fittings. Also seems pretty stable, and after adjustment, doesn't move much. One extra I would have liked would have been some kind of emergency tether, so if things do go south, your device is still attached to the helmet. Although I suppose I could fabricate something myself.Good value for money at this price point.

i much prefer chin mounts to adhesive mounts you stick to your helmet, and this product re-confirmed it. I have an Arai karting helmet which I also have an anti-fog insert that basically cups over my nose and mouth and diverts my breath downwards rather on to the inside of the visor, and I was worried the chin mount would not be able to attach while that was in place. However, the straps are thin enough to go between the helmet and the insert, so that works well.I did have a little difficulty getting the chin mount straps to be really tight. The straps and adjusting buckles seemed to have a little bit of slip in them, so I'd get them absolutely taut and then it was slacken ever so slightly. It's still perfectly usable though, and a regular action camera like a GoPro Hero, DJI Osmo or Insta360 Ace is in the perfect position for the real "through the eyes of the rider/driver" view. It also fits a 360 camera, but my Insta360 X4 Air pretty much fills my vision so I don't recommend that.Overall I think this is great value. Plenty of attachments to alter the fit and camera type. Pretty good.
Not a perfectly tight fit, but easy to install and works well with regular action cameras
