K&F Concept Action Camera Motorcycle Dirt Bike Helmet Chin Strap Mount, Helmet Holder Mounting Attachment for GoPro Hero 13/12/11/10/9/8/7/6/5/4/DJI Osmo Action 5Pro/4/3/Insta360 X5/X4/X3
SKU: KF31.159
When I go out to specifically record a ride, I like to get footage from multiple cameras. In addition to on-bike cameras, I like to get helmet cam footage, and rather than have a GoPro hanging off the side of my head, I've found that chin mounts really give the best POV style footage. That being said, I've tried a couple of chin mounts so far with mixed results, so I decided I'd give this one a try.Pros:+ Comes with two different length extensions for attaching your camera. This lets it sit a bit away from the helmet so you can angle it up or down, and makes it possible to get enough upwards angle to avoid the need to mount your camera upside down for a straight shot.+ Build quality is good, it feels sturdy, and the pad helps prevent it from sliding around. The straps also cinch up well, and overall it locks on good and solid.+ Fairly priced, it is on par with similar mounts.+ POV footage looks good and is as expected for a chin mount.+ Also includes a 1/4" GoPro style fork mount adapter making it work with nearly any small action camera on the market.Cons:- Because the straps need to go under your visor, you may or may not be able to fully snap your shield closed. On an open face dirt bike helmet however, this is a non-issue with googles or sunglasses. The photo showing the buckles at the point where the shield closes is absurd, and you can move them out of the way, but the strap is still in the way.Overall, this is a good sturdy mount at a fair price. It is built well, goes on and off with ease, and makes it possible to get good POV chin mount footage without flipping your camera. It does have one flaw however when it comes to the straps potentially preventing you from closing your shield all the way, so take that into consideration.

It's an okay strap. Docked a star because the strap gets in my mouth, but other than that it's a good GoPro mount for your helmet. It comes with several mounts, so you can equip your respective action cams on. Mind you with this installed you can't fully close the helmet down and you will have that tiny gap.

The K&F Concept Upgraded Action Camera Motorcycle Helmet Chin Strap Mount is a popular, non-adhesive solution for mounting action cameras like GoPros, (not sure if it fits Insta360s, and DJI Osmo Action cameras) onto a full-face helmet. Unlike earlier versions, the upgraded model features an X-shaped strap for added stability and a ball joint for more flexible angle adjustments. It provides a secure and reliable way to capture point-of-view (POV) shots while motorcycling, dirt biking, or participating in other action sports.

The concept is there, and I’m sure it works for others, but I didn’t really enjoy this type of strap. The positioning made my helmet off balanced and tipped forward which made it more annoying to ride and even then the strap itself was a bit fumbly. This might not fit all helmets by the way, especially if your helmet is one has eye protection.

The K&F Concept Upgrade Action Camera Motorcycle Dirt Bike Helmet Chin Strap Mount, Helmet Holder Mounting Attachment Compatible with GoPro Hero 13/ 12/ 11/ 10/ 9/ 8/ DJI Osmo Action 5Pro/ 4/ 3/ Insta360 X5/ X4/ X3 has a good quality. The attachment parts are solid, well made, the plastic material seems to be of good quality and the helmet strap has a rubber to prevent scratches in the helmet. It is very easy to assembly the camera attachment to the helmet and the included extension provides additional degrees of freedom to better adjust the camera. I am happy with the purchase, 5 stars.

If you want a helmet chin strap for your dirt bike or atv ride, this strap does the job. It stayed in place for my entire ride with no shifting. It's sturdy and works well. It sits low enough that I could easily see over my gopro, and it is quick access with one hand. While it isn't my favorite place for a gopro mount, it does what it needs to do. If I want my shots to see where I'm looking I will likely use this mount again for that. My most used mount on a ride is my chest mount, but that's just preference. This mount felt a little strange at first for me, just sitting right there in front of my face on my ride, but I got used to it and didn't mind after a bit. Good mount!

K&F CONCEPT Motorcycle Helmet Chin Mount Strap:I have a £120 full face cycling helmet which is pretty much the same as an off road motocross helmet. This straps on in the same place and allows me to use any one of my action cameras from tiny to large even though the large ones would be impractical. I can put it on one way where the camera is in line with my mouth or flip it 180 degrees so the camera is aligned just below my chin without having to change the position of the strap itself. There isn't much to this kit and that is what makes it great. It is simple but allows you to achieve a lot.On the negative side, it is fair to say that this avoid pointing out that you could end up with an issue where the visor on a bike helmet doesn't fully close correctly or can open up at high speeds. If you are determined to have this then I am sure you can find ways to make tiny modifications that would work, but you shouldn't have to do that.Perfect for cyclist, probably not so much for helmets with visors.

This is a well made product. its slightly flexible which is needed to fit the helmet contours. Fit well and looks great, UPDATE.... This mount is not suitable for any flip front helmets as the straps prevent you from using the helmet lock; VERY DISSAPOINTED. originally ordered for my son but he wont use them.

What a fantastic bit of kit!! 100% perfect!! Excellent value! Yes, if riding at 100mph plus it may not be ideal due to visor not closing tight because of the straps but so damn useful for off road enduro and also on my road bike helmet. 100% plus for a simple but effective affordable bit of kit. Can’t fault it.
