Great, but too heavy.

Very high-quality and practical clamp. It works great and is very easy to use. It is great that the camera can be removed from the actual clamp with the small foot using the quick release. This gives you more freedom, which I have already used several times on vacation. For example, if you have attached the clamp on the backpack to a shoulder strap and you quickly need a different perspective. The rubber coating is good and so you can clamp anything to a glass panel. The magnets on the back are also great, but unfortunately they are a bit weak. I would have liked significantly more adhesive power here. But it lasts, although not super secure. Still a good option for metal surfaces. In any case, I am delighted, clear recommendation.

Clamps really well on the backpack or on its shoulder strap. The magnet is also really strong and sticks well on a clean surface.

On the dog round, I clamp my action cam to the shoulder strap of the daypack — hands free for leash and treats, looking forward stably. On the short commute to work, I use it for POV snippets; clipping on and off is virtually blind. Positive: Very good clamping force & grip: rubberized cheeks, does not slip on the backpack strap — even when walking briskly or on a bike path. Quick adjustment: can be adjusted cleanly and holds the position reliably without having to remove the bracket. High-quality feel: robust feel, nothing rattles; the surfaces protect the belt and distribute the pressure neatly. Versatile: on belts, on thin edges or even on a metal surface in the workshop. Could be improved: Magnet more for static scenes: sticks okay to the locker/metal railing, I wouldn't use it for car/motorcycle while driving. Sensitive to material thickness: the clip does not close perfectly on very thick or strongly curved edges — it is strongest on flat, thinner materials. Practical tips/tips: Place on the flat section of the shoulder strap and keep clamping surfaces clean — the grip is noticeably better. For moving shots, first set the desired angle, then clamp it down; this reduces slipping. Suitable for: POV on a backpack carrier when hiking, city cycling or dog walking; quick hands-free clips in everyday life. Less suitable for: vibrating metal surfaces in airflow or very thick glass/plastic edges.

.. really firm. This clip is surprisingly suitable for attaching an action cam to the windshield of a motorcycle, for example. The material thickness that it can hold is decisive. It is designed more for thinner surfaces and distributes the pressure very evenly, which ensures a secure grip. With thicker surfaces — such as a 7 mm thick shower glass panel — it no longer closes completely and only lasts to a limited extent. A material thickness of around 3 to 4 mm appears to be optimal. The integrated magnetic function is a nice extra, but not intended for dynamic applications. The magnetic holding force is too weak to take pictures on a car or motorcycle while driving. It still works best on vertical surfaces, but barely across. The rubber coating on all contact surfaces, which reliably protects sensitive surfaces, is positive. Overall, the clamp is robust and versatile — but the magnetic mechanism is more of an addition than a real replacement for a firm clamp.

Sticks bomb-proof The quality is very good. It can be attached anywhere because it has a very strong grip.

The magnetic backpack clip holder from K&F Concept was specially developed for action cameras such as my DJI Osmo 360. Even when unpacked, it looks robust and well thought-out — a solid plastic construction combined with a non-slip silicone pad and strong magnets. The magnetic principle is particularly practical because you can flexibly attach the camera to metal surfaces such as signs or railings without having to bring additional adapters. I tested the clip on hikes with my child. It holds securely to the backpack strap, even when moving, and can be tilted 180° to capture different perspectives. A video I took when I attached the camera to a metal plate was particularly impressive — stable, quiet and with an exciting viewing angle. For me, this clip is a reliable companion on every trip with a camera in my hand.

With this clip, an ActionCam can even be easily attached to the windshield of my motorcycle. The angle or thickness at which the clip opens is decisive for this. This clamp is designed for very thin materials, which is why it sticks fairly flat on the windshield and distributes the force well. With my shower cubicle (7mm thick), for example, it doesn't work quite as well anymore. The disc is too thick for the clip. Although it still holds, it does not close perfectly and is stuck in parallel, but a gap is then open. I would estimate that the optimal thickness for mounting is around 3-4 mm. The clip is also magnetic. However, I strongly advise against using this method for dynamic shots on a car or motorcycle tank, as the photos in the product description suggest. The magnetic holding force is not really strong. As shown in my photos, when attached to a vertical surface, the magnet works best lengthwise, but not crosswise. All relevant surfaces are rubberized and protect the surfaces to which you attach the clip, whether via the clamp mechanism or magnetically. So I can say that the bracket is good. The magnetic mechanism so-so and you should only use it for static shooting, i.e. not on a car/motorcycle while driving. All in all, a solid, solidly manufactured product that can be used flexibly. With this description and my photos, I hope to have provided some useful input for making a purchase decision.

I have a few different products from K&F and they are fast becoming one of my favoured brands and this clip is a good addition to my growing collection of action cam mounts. I love this mount mainly because it's a great way of attaching an action cam to loads of things not just a rucksack strap and doing it quickly too. The grip is really quite strong so you're given the confidence that it will stay attached to whatever you clip it too. The fact that the base is magnetic is also a great idea, however this is the only slight flaw I've found as the magnet could do with being a bit stronger, it's still good for quickly attaching it to the side of a metal cabinet or anything else that's metal, but I wouldn't suggest attaching it to the tank of your motorbike like in one of their pictures and then zooming off as I wouldn't trust it to stay there. That aside it's a really well made adapter which definitely has a place in my kit bag. Recommended.
