I use this to record lectures and prior to this, I was using notes on my ipad but it has problems transcribing and when it does, it's always got a lot of errors or syncing issues when displaying the transcript.After getting this, I was a little worried because it seems just a little too simple. There's an on/off switch and a single button. I brought it to my psych class and I was imrpessed. It picked up the lecture perfectly and it seems that the transcript was accurate and actually saved! It took a little while to send to my computer but a 3 hr lecture is pretty big.So far, I'm veryy happy with this because of the following:1. It's very very light2. It's got a metal ring that you can stick on the back so that it attaches to the back of my phone3. Super simple to setup and get running4. Transcription is accurate5. AI Summaries are cool. You can pick from a pre-defined template or create a custom template. This AI recorder is really nice. I’ve been doing a lot of work interviews, so I can’t remember what the recruiters said or offered, so it’s really nice to have a reliable note taker. When I circle back to the jobs, I can go more depth about compensation and such without having no question about what they offered. Sometimes they try to talk about a different compensation package, but when I tell them I have the conversation recorded, they don’t try to fight me on what was actually said.I think this would’ve been useful for me when I was a student because it has a transcribe feature and organizes notes.
