This magic arm clamp from brand K&F CONCEPT is a solid extension to my video rig, in which I have a mirrorless camera setup with a cinema lens and all the bits and pieces for that, but what I was really missing was a way to get my audio a bit more focused from above a subject, and so I installed this arm and a hot shoe boom mic onto the camera cage, rather than on the cameras hot shoe itself.It works just as I had hoped; I noticed that the joints are solid and tightening can be done with a very easy twist. The joints have very little wiggle and so the audio accessories stay in place, which is exactly what I needed.Overall, the 11 inch arm has a fantastic clamp included if you prefer to attach it that way, though it has both 1/4 and 3/8 inch screw mounts, and enough length to serve my purpose. I am happy with it overall. Comes in orange and black, as is the K&F CONCEPT colour tradition. Great brand, always great products. 5 stars.

The Magic Arm was delivered in well-protected packaging. Both parts were in the usual K&F Concept quality. I had the extension and the Super Clamp in my hands, neatly finished and in a robust design. The ball joints provide excellent support and can be individually fixed more firmly in case that should things loosen up a bit. To do this, simply tighten the screw connection a bit, but this was not necessary after several uses. The clamp is rubberized on the inside to prevent damage. 2 3/8” and 1/4” threads are integrated to ensure flexibility. The contact surfaces of the Magic Arm are also rubberized on both sides so that the camera, monitor, video light or other accessories remain undamaged. With a maximum load of 2 kg, you are always on the safe side for a wide range of applications. The price/performance ratio is in line with the good quality. Clear and unconditional recommendation, because this Magic Arm is now an integral part of my photo equipment.

Everything is made of very well-made and robust metal (tubes in black & lever in orange). The tightening levers and knobs are also made of metal. The application itself is very easy. You screw the arm and the clamp together, then you take the clamp, open it and attach it to a stand or other suitable pipe (or object). The arm is rotated loosely and then moved into the correct position. Everything is then fixed with the control knobs. Then, of course, you can also attach a video light, a microphone, a camera or something similar. Everything is secured with standard 1/4 inch screws. What we think is very good is that you can align your arm very well. It is held very well in position by gridded joints. Of course, it depends on the weight of the attached devices, how much the whole thing then wobbles or not. Overall, however, the arm is very easy to use, attach and fix - especially due to the large levers. The price of the product is okay and can be recommended by us. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Although some previous products from this brand didn't impress me much with their quality, I liked this support. All fasteners have good quality, fit perfectly together and have a quality appearance. I was a little confused by the structure of ball joints. Please note that on both sides of this fastening there are ball holders, but the fixing screw is only in the middle. This screw fixes both ball heads and the fixing curve at the same time. That is, if you loosen it, all the parts start to move and personally, it's not very practical for me. But it's worth noting that if you don't loosen the screw too much, a little force is needed to move each part, allowing you to adjust the fastening as needed. I also didn't like that even if you tighten the fixing screw to the maximum, the ball heads can still rotate around the fixing axis with some force. Everything else works perfectly. In general, this is a pretty good fixation, but the above-mentioned shortcomings must be taken into account. I hope my opinion was useful and will help you make the right decision. This small magic arm is made entirely of aluminium/metal and is very well made. With just one central locking screw, both the middle joint and the two ball joints are fixed. This allows you to adjust every position quickly. The clamp is covered with plastic pads on the inside to improve the grip on smooth rods. The diameter of the clamp can be adjusted from approx. 1 - 5 cm. Cameras, LEDs, microphones, etc. fit the standard 1/4 inch thread (no DSLR would put on it rather Gopros). The two arms each have a length of 10 cm. A universal accessory for videographers.

A fairly classic clamp and articulated arm combo (aka Super Clamp + Magic arm) as found in many brands, I tested it with different lighting elements from the smallest LED panel to LED tubes weighing more than 1.5 Kg. The clamp is a standard model with a 1/4 screw hole and another 3/8 screw hole and unlike the illustrated photos, the 2 are well equipped with holes on the sides for the locking pins that prevent unwanted rotations, which is therefore a good surprise since at the ends of the arm, we have 1/4 screws precisely and not 3/8. The articulated arm is a little more pushed at the ends than some competing models, which places it at the level of mid-range models, it is tightened by the center segment like the others, but especially has at its 2 ends small heads with 1/4 hand screws + locking pins and small rubber pad for more grip, small keys that make it easier to install accessories and to better secure them. The manufacturer indicates a maximum load weight of 2 kg and this is consistent with my tests, the presence or absence of holes for the locking pins on your accessory still has an important role on stability. Conclusion: a fairly classic €36 model that does the job well, with a few extras shared also with other competing models, but which are more around €38 - 40.

The Magic Arm from K&F Concept is well made and looks chic. The central swivel has good guidance so that the adjustment is easy. This is particularly important because when the central screw is released, all joints are released. If you still have to make sure that the two halves of the central joint lie exactly on top of each other when aligning the equipment, it gets tricky. The arm is sturdy enough for lightweight accessories such as smartphones (with an extra holder), small video lights or monitors. I wouldn't attach a full-frame camera because then, at the latest, the clamp will reach its limits.

The construction is completely made of metal, qualitatively assembled and feels good in the hands. There is no feeling of a cheap accessory - on the contrary, everything is well done: careful hinges, screws, anodized aluminum, the details look professional. It does not use extra weight, which is especially important when installed on light stands or cameras. The central control handle fixes all the nodes at once - and the ball accessories at the ends, and the central joint. This simplifies setup and saves time: just one adjustment is enough to fix everything in the right position. I have safely attached to it both small lamps and monitors, as well as action cameras. The compact size allows you to take it with you on any trip. When folded, it even fits in the side pocket of the backpack. It is convenient when a lightweight but functional solution is needed to mount the light or camera in unusual places without bulky stands.Aesthetic appearance: black matte metal with bright orange accents makes control more intuitive - orange screws are immediately noticeable and allow you to quickly adjust the desired part even in a hurry. This small detail in practice saves time and reduces the possibility of errors in the frame.

We received a box that is quite compact, it doesn't reach even an inch long. The design is very cool: predominant white background, with the details in that orange so typical of K&F Concept. On the front is a photo of the product that gives you a clear idea of what's inside. When you open the box through the side flap (it is sealed), you find a pair of bubble bags that separate the two pieces of the superclamp, so that we don't get anything scratched or knocked. The first thing that stands out is that it is a product that transmits very good feelings. All absolutely metallic: the sticks, the screw threads, the body of the arm, the handle... you can tell right away that we are dealing with something very sturdy, they have spared nothing.
